I am X, Y, and sometimes Z.

My Self-Summary

Despite working in the Insurance industry I manage to have a lot of craic here in Cork. I've been living in the city for three years and I don't see anything moving me for a while yet. I'm big into my music and listen to pretty much everything (if you could see my playlist now you'd believe me). I play bass with a similarly eclectic repertoire though I enjoy playing good old fashioned 'rawk' the most.

To balance out the rock n roll I like keep to keep active but I don't let my gym-ing interfere with my weekends as they are reserved strictly for da craic.

I try to keep my brain somewhat active too & try to keep up with what's happening in the world - Though since leaving college, I think I've started to succumb to the inevitable onset of cynicism & general apathy, ah well... That said, I always look on the funny side of life and rarely get too stressed about anything.

What I’m doing with my life

If someone asked me this question at a school reunion I'd probably say 'well am, I work in insurance' and then watch them awkwardly turn around to talk to someone more interesting before I can get another word in. I wouldn't get offended as I'd be safe in the knowledge that there's a bit more to me than my job title would suggest.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

The contents of my bookshelf are to fool people into thinking I'm smart! Some of those books have never even been opened...

As for music I'd listen to pretty much anything. Dance, metal, hip hop, blues, jazz its all on my computer somewhere. The guys in my band were a little taken aback when they saw how much 80s music I had on my computer. If they don't like it, that's very much their loss.

The six things I could never do without

1) My friends - I f**king love those guys

Am...how many is that? How about I just name 6 of my friends??

On a typical Friday night I am

promising myself I won't stay out till 6am

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I don't like chocolate, at all. Women find this really weird and hard to understand. Well if that's the weirdest thing they find in me I think I'm doing pretty well!

You should message me if

you don't take life tooooo seriously and if you think you can put up with my surreal sense of humour - apart from that, no special criteria.
