My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am one to laugh often and will probably try making a joke most of the time, but I have moments of seriousness as well. I am pretty outgoing, and normally have no qualms in talking to about anybody. I'm a bit of a nerd, but I like to think I'm one with a life outside of a digital existence.

I am one who enjoys movies and music a bit, and love to discuss them with people who are interested in them as well. I always like finding new things and have found many a cool band/movie off of suggestions from friends. I also enjoy reading, albeit most of the time from magazines like Newsweek, I have really been trying to insert more 'classic' novels in my reading such as 'On The Road', '1984', or 'The Fountainhead'.

I also enjoy some oddball stuff, like beer brewing, collecting arcade machines, listening to records, or visiting goodwill way too much.

I am a person who loves humor in life and thinks that wit and sarcasm are probably about the best reaction to most things. I'm also pretty relaxed which I don't find as too bad of a way to go through life.

I am unpredictable, humorous, and relaxed
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have just moved to Jeffersonville and started a new job, both of which I am rather enjoying. I'm having fun reconnecting with old friends from the area and getting to meet new ones.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I have an innate skill to collect items that draw my interest. Many of a bonding moment with my father was spent at country auctions and flea markets. Seeking out and finding these different things sometimes gives me more joy than actually owning any of them. These may include, but are not limited to

Records
Old video games
Outdated A/V formats (gotta play that beta max tape? I've got it covered)
Old Electric Fans
Beer paraphernalia
Computers
The first things people usually notice about me

Probably my laugh, I have been told it is pretty distinctive. A bit loud and can be infectious.

Movies

Before I went with the method of listing a bunch of movies but the lists get a bit cumbersome. My favorite movie is the Blues Brothers, most things that is sarcastic and dry as saltines tends to draw my attention. I tend to like comedies a lot, also quite a few older classics. I mostly enjoy certain directors, here's a list for you, it's by no means exhaustive

Quinten tarantino, Frank Capra, Mel Brooks, John Landis, Terry Gilliam, Charlie Chaplin, Fritz Lang, Kevin Smith, Akira Kurosawa, Francis Ford Coppola, Hayao Miyazaki, John Hughes, Stanley Kurbrick

C)The Beatles, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Meatloaf, Ween, They Might Be Giants, The Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, The Clash, The Ramones, Boston, Chicago, Pink Floyd, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Manyard Ferguson, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, NWA, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, Wu-Tang Clan, Snoop Dog, Immortal Technique, The Fugees, Public Enemy, Tom Waits, Old 97's, Woody Guthrie, Bill Monroe and the Bluegrass Boys, Hank III, Johnny Cash, Uncle Tupelo, The Buzzcocks, Old Crow Medicine Show, Danzig, Metalica, Atreyu, Dillinger Escape, Plan, Primus, Slayer, AFI, The Vandals, Avenge Sevenfold, Pantera, Anti-flag, The Offspring(old stuff), NIN, Beach Boys, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, NOFX, Frank Zappa, Neil Young. Actually I'm just kind of naming stuff off of the top of my head, just ask me, I'm sure I've heard of most bands as long as they arent some obscure indie rock group, just too many of those and I dont listen to it that much.

d)I do enjoy chinese food, and I suppose about most anything else, Can't say I'm a Picky eater
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) My family, always helpful

2)My cell phone, wish that wasn't so, remember when you could leave the house and nobody could reach you, that was kinda nice

3)Computer, what can I say, I'm a nerd, and now I even have a new Macbook, which means I am poor from my purchase, but happy about the decision.

4)Music, I know I have a large varied list above, but thats not a lie, depending on mood I seem to enjoy different music, hence the plethora (haha, that reminds me of the three amigos) of genres.

5)Place to get random information, Bathroom readers, Wikipedia, IMDB.com, I love learning about all of these little things I keep running across

6)Friends, hey you just look odd at a bar drinking by yourself
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Probably for the most part I tend to think about whatever makes me laugh, If I'm quiet I'm probably just looking around and making joke after joke to myself, it keeps me entertained.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Lately it has been going to music festivals, but I have been having fun discovering all the bars in Jeff down by the river. I might even stay in every once in a while, depending on how crazy my week has been.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I enjoy canning, it may come off a bit like Aunt Bea, but I don't care. It's fun trying new recipes and trying new vegetables. I want to see if I can get a good recipe down for a bloody mary mix this year.

If you think we could have a fun conversation, I rather enjoy the art of verbal discourse. If you're one to often have a 1 or 2 word response to a question, I'm going to have a hard time getting to know you. Life is too full of nuanced, opinionated, and interesting to respond like a moody teenager.

Just moving back around this area I have had a fun time connecting with old friends. This area has changed since I was last here though, I am always wanting to find new places to go and new people to hang out with. If you would like to help on either of those fronts, I could use another partner in crime.
