My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm not very good at these but I'll try. I love movies, television, games and just hanging out with my friends. I'm a very sarcastic person and I like to joke around, I fully expect the same from all of you.

I have an MA in Advertising which means if it's a scene, character, joke or reference from Mad Men I've heard it, seen it or lived it. I take care of kids now because I'm working on furthering my soul and not my bank account.

I like to play board/card/video/puzzle/word/playground games, basically anything to keep my mind active, so if you're ever organizing a sick game of Zombies let me know. If you don't know what Zombies is, let me know and I will happily explain or demonstrate it. Tons of fun!

I'm learning to play the bass (Right now I'm working on the Beatles) and I have too many books, DVDs, and nerdy shirts (if such a thing is possible).

Oh and my name is Althea. Can't guarantee I'll give you a straight answer if you ask me how I got my name.

I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Movie and television references with non-specific descriptions, like: "What's that show with the woman in the red dress and the robots with laser faces?"
The first things people usually notice about me

My award-winning death stare.

This is literally a list too long to fill out, I own more DVDs than a Netflix warehouse and enough books to open a mobile library. Ask me! Suggest some of your favorites! Recently I've been really in love with Wreck-it-Ralph though. Such a good movie! Also We're the Millers was a surprise success with me.

I think Meet The Robinsons is the most perfect thing Disney has ever done and non-horror movies about witches always put a smile on my face. I like to watch horror and thriller movies but I have a surprisingly low threshold for gore. I can handle/enjoy zombie movies though... not sure what that's about.

I tend toward sci-fi, fantasy and I love reading about mythology and new cultures, but that's not to say that I don't watch procedurals and a good deal of my bookshelf is mystery books.

Music wise I tend toward Top 40 from the 50s till now but I love virtually anything I can dance to or sing badly and insincerely along to in the car.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Bacon, books, family (both biological and chosen), batman, Travel, and Siddalee, my perfect pup.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
This or that effing novel/article/movie/episode/game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Inside? Out? Most likely with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I'm planning on starring as Batman one day. It's gonna happen. Also I may want my future significant other to call me Old Man because my spirit animal is Jadzia Dax.
