Born in St. Paul, MN. I spent my first years in Wisconsin. I retain many early memories of my childhood there, more than I think is usual. There was the day we discovered my bunny rabbit Frosty had been spooked by a fox and escaped from his outdoor pen. My father and I tracked the fox and bunny prints in the snow through the surrounding woods for an hour but it started to get dark and we had to turn home.
I was raised by world travelers and incidentally spent my other formative years in Singapore and traveling the globe a bit. My father was a chemist turned marketer and my mother was an english teacher, ragtime pianist, organist, classic-trained choir singer and model of good humor and enthusiasm. I have ancestral roots in Ohio. Attended college in Colorado. Been here now close to a decade.
