i stay super busy so efficiency is my m.o. i can be spontaneous but am more prone to keeping a tight calendar so i can do more of the things i love to do without missing a beat. as someone who highly values his connections with others i will always give more time to activities with friends or a special someone ;) on the infrequent occasion i have alone time i will multi-task like a beast in order to reserve more time for company. i am pretty high-energy (but low-maintenance) and ride the natural highs (no substances for me - even coffee).
after a pacific n.w. upbringing and a dozen years on the east coast for school and work, i relocated to the bay last year. although I was hesitant to move here i have fallen in love with this place and met some amazing people. as i continue to explore the city i mostly look forward to expanding my local family of friends because for me, life is only as wonderful as the people you share it with. and hopefully i'll find that special someone in the mix with whom i can build a future. i've found that good company makes even the most simple times magical so i'd sooner enjoy the familiar with a loved one than run around solo, i'd rather stroll hand in hand than frequent a club, i'd rather cook together than go out to eat (unless its ethiopian or indian or another tricky recipe), i prefer even a quick phone chat to any length of texting, and always seek substance over novelty.
seems as though laughter (with a good dose of humility) is the best way to handle life whether amused or confused, sincere or silly, curious or confident...it keeps us grounded and connected to each other. i even smile when i cry (which happens in all movies i love - i'm big softy). and laughter makes the good times great and the bad times less painful so show those pearly whites!
whether your lens reads the above as strengths or weaknesses i can be summed up best in the words of a. burroughs, "i myself am made entirely of flaws stitched together with good intentions."
