I am imaginative, opinionated, and self-deprecating.

My Self-Summary

I love reading, writing and emailing the semi-famous. I'm over-sensitive and ludicrously tactile - I'll probably get to know you by sticking my finger up your nose or my tongue in your ear, but only with your consent. I may come across as a bit of a ladette (pints, pool, darts) but I look, speak and in all other ways act very feminine. I even wear the occasional dress.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm just starting my final year of my degree, having come back from a year abroad in South America, and am hopefully going onto a post-grad teaching course (NOT a PGCE) next Summer.

I’m really good at

falling over in public, accidentally offending people, and making chocolate brownies.

The first things people usually notice about me

My hair, my height, and the fact that I smoke like a chimney when I'm nervous and meeting new people.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: The Picture of Dorian Gray, 1984, Animal Farm, anything by Chuck Palahnuik, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, and many, many more...

Movies: Some Like It Hot, A Streetcar Named Desire, Little Miss Sunshine, Inside I'm Dancing, Fight Club, Sin City, High Fidelity...

Music: Frank Turner, Bright Eyes, We Are Scientists, Ray LaMontagne, Joni Mitchell, Nina Simone, The Cure, The Cult, The Mission...

The six things I could never do without

In no particular order, are:

1. Tea
2. My family
3. A decent night's sleep
4. My best friend
5. Hugs
6. A good book

I spend a lot of time thinking about

things that I shouldn't be thinking about.

On a typical Friday night I am

in the pub, drinking a pint and wondering how long those people will be playing pool for before I can have a go.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

is that I had a brief spell of kleptomania a few years back and stole anything from pubs and hotels that wasn't nailed down.

You should message me if

you like stand-up comedy, live music, and aren't put off by a girl who drinks pints, plays pool and watches darts.
