The best way of describing myself is one part Will Ferrell, one part Jason Bateman, with a cup full of Yoda. I'm realistic, thoughtful, open to try new things (food, activity, music, book, you get the gist). I've lived my whole life in SoCal enjoy venturing outside the bubble when given the opportunity - be it domestic or international. Preferably internationally.
I'm pretty sarcastic and playfully witty. I enjoy having fun, banter laden conversations about ridiculousness, but know when it's time to be serious as well. I'm well acquainted with the difference between there/their/they're/your and you're. I'm not here to play Jedi mind games with anyone. I'm real and not looking to waste your time or mine.
What I’m doing with my life
I work in construction telecommunications knocking down cell towers but am working on trying to be my own boss.
I’m really good at
Listening to people and remembering little things about them. Although ironically I'm terrible at remembering names. Jump rope, not double dutch. Drinking the recommended daily dosage of water.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm the whitest Asian ever (in a Twinkie kind of way, not actual skin tone)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Way too many favorites to list but here's a sample of each.
Arrested Development - I've made a huge mistake
Curb Your Enthusiasm - funnier than Seinfeld?
The Walking Dead - How is Glenn still alive?
Fear the Walking Dead - I really like zombie shows apparently.
Breaking Bad - best show ever made.
GOT - really veering from the books but an awesome show.
A lot more, there's too much good TV
Harry Potter - Thanks for making Harry Potter 8 a play
The 5 Love Languages - really enlightening actually
IT - it still freaks me out
A lot more...
Grizzly Man - If you know why this made the list, we'll get along just fine
Made - pretty much like Swingers but better
Star Wars IV-VI (prequels suck. I don't care how awesome you are, please don't message me or respond to my message if your favorite character is Jar Jar Binks, haha)
Commando - See Grizzly Man comment
I listen to most everything and always enjoy hearing new types of music/artists but my favorite are Muse and Beatles - Old school rap/hip hop
I'll try most everything at least once. The spicier the better. Please see "most everything". I still can't try chicken feet and have no near plans to either. Haha.
The six things I could never do without
My Boxer, Oscar De La Bluth
DVR - a true technological miracle
Family and Friends - which really should be a given
Sports - The period of time between basketball ending and football starting is torture.
Water - I drink a lot of water. Like a lot of water everyday.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How time flies when you're working and making sure to not let life pass me by. Thinking of how I can get out of the cubicle life and work for myself. How I can better myself. We can always improve.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out and about with friends, hanging out with family. Catching up on my DVR or Netflix with an alcoholic beverage in hand or working at my shop, gotta put in the work if you want to be sucessful! Exciting stuff I know.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My dog and I share the same quality in that we both overheat very quickly when it's very hot or when we run way too much, but only one of us ends up laying on the ground with their tongue out panting. I'll let you guess which one.
You should message me if
You have a good sense of humor that enjoys witty, sarcastic banter, are pretty laid back, are down for either a fun night out or a comfy night in watching TV or a movie on the couch, and can communicate effectively.
