I figured it's about time to revamp this whole profile deal so here goes... Well I'm a strange little fella' and I'll be the first to admit it. I have interests ranging from mind splitting hardcore metal music to watching Lost in Translation for a good old fashioned man-cry. I refuse to be anything but my true self 100% of the time so I may come off as a bit much at first but I figure, why dance around the facts with small talk? Within the first few minutes of meeting me you will probably know enough to think I'm totally awesome or a real piece of garbage. I can tell you this off the bat, I have strong opinions about most issues but I am always willing to compromise because I detest conflict. I am also quite the serial monogamist. I'm not really good at the whole "casual" dating scene I've come to realize. I am either getting my feelings hurt or hurting hers because one of us is not totally in the game. I guess at this point that's all you need to know and if I am still mysterious, feel free to ask me anything because I'm an open book.

I'm working in the fire protection equipment field, servicing and maintaining equipment. I also teach classes on fire safety for various companies and organizations.

What's also important to realize is that what one does for a career or a job does not define who they are as a person. Their actions define their character, not their paycheck.

I'm really good at trivia games, mostly to the point where it pisses everyone else off. I'm also really good at absorbing all kinds of new information quickly and I have a great memory for the tiniest details. I'm usually good for a laugh which can be because of something I've said or more often than not because of some sort of self-deprecating act. I firmly believe that one must first be able to make fun of their self fully before he/she can make fun of others. Also, I do possess secret powers bestowed upon me from a ninja pirate and if I were to tell you them or even demonstrate them his ghost would descend upon you and remove your molars. (Pretty serious stuff I know)

Probably my personality because it's pretty strong. Like I said, I'm a weird one. One minute I'm being shy in a huddled mass off to the side and the next minute I'm vying for center stage. I guess the first thing you will notice is that once my shyness has worn off, I'm a real hoot. Physically, probably my eyes which is a totally awful and lame answer and I hate myself for writing it. I'm told I look like Devon Sawa with good teeth yet I still don't take any of that as a compliment.

Books: My favorite authors are William Faulkner, Albert Camus, and George Orwell.
Movies: I like action, thrillers, drama, horror, and comedy.
Music: I like everything except Pop and Country. I mostly enjoy hardcore, metal (not of the 80s variety), ska, select punk and alternative.
Food: Love all ethnic foods, I just like a lot of spice and flavor.

Family, friends who care about me, enough money to live comfortably, um electricity, a means of communication, and probably music.

I try not to dwell on too much, it will only get you in trouble. Although I would like to know why men have nipples....I mean really....why?

I usually go out to one of my usual haunts with a friend or two to celebrate the end of another dull week. Other nights I'm perfectly content staying in and watching some Netflix. I'm pretty easy to entertain, I don't need to be constantly doing something in order to stay happy.

New Note: I know this is going to sound rather mean but here goes....I joined this site because I want to MEET new people that could possibly become a RELATIONSHIP. I am not here to make new internet buddies. Perhaps if you work 2 jobs and go to school full time then your plate is already pretty full and you shouldn't be on here trying to cram more into it. Don't get me wrong, I am a very friendly person but I want to make my intentions quite clear. Please have a similar interest in actual meeting, dating, etc. I think I've made enough "friends" at this point. (So how was that, mean? haha)
