Not sure, I'm still young and enjoying what comes my way. I work full-time at a bookstore which pays my bills and has moved me throughout New England. I'm not sure what I really want to do, but I am pretty content with what I do now.

Books: Well, some of my favorite authors are Orwell, Murakami, Dostoyevsky, Poe, Foster Wallace, Kafka and Tolstoy, while some of my favorite titles are We by Zamyatin, Crime and Punishment, Wind Up Bird Chronicle by Murakami, Keep the Aspidistra Flying by Orwell, and the Stranger. My nerdy side also digs manga/comics as well as the Economist and Harper's.

Movies: My two favorite genres would be samurai flicks (Akira Kurosawa style) and campy horror flicks. Though my taste ventures further than that, some of my favorite directors would be Hitchcock, Tarkovsky, Eisenstein, von Trier, Takashi Miike, Alain Resnais and Jean-Luc Goddard. My favorite flicks include Seven Samurai, The Sacrifice, Solaris, The Wicker Man (not the Nicholas Cage version), Night of the Living Dead, Evil Dead, The Blob, Planet of the Apes, Blue Velvet, Trainspotting, La Jetee, Mon Oncle D'Amerique and 4 weeks 3 months 2 days

Shows: I don't watch a lot of TV nor do I own one but the shows I watch on Netflix/DVD/Hulu/or any illegal way possible would be Simpsons, South Park, Twilight Zone, Home Movies, Real Time with Bill Maher, Ricky Gervais Show, Alfred Hitchcock Show, Life and Times of Tim, Arrested Development, Todd Margaret, Trailer Park Boys, Twin Peaks, X Files, Fullmetal Alchemist, Death Note, Monster. And I am from Rhode Island but that does not mean I like Family Guy. I do listen to a lot of podcasts from NPR, the BBC, Metal podcasts and the Reason podcast.

Music: I dig a range of stuff, however I can't really bare electronic dance music, i.e. house, techno, dubstep etc. My big phase the last couple of years has been all sorts of metal. But I also really love 90s music, indie, punk/ska, old school folk, and some hip-hop. Lately I've been listening to some jazz like Miles Davis and Thelonious Monk while I get through some books. A quick rundown of some of my faves would be Bob Dylan, Pearl Jam, Wormrot, Sebadoh, Pavement, Death, Joy Division, The Smiths, The Sound of Animals Fighting, Nick Drake, Phil Ochs, Wu Tang Clan, Del, Genghis Tron, Alice in Chains, Cloudkicker, Atlas Moth, Boris, Converge, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Fall of Troy, Iron & Wine, Misfits, Naked City, Orbs, Sisters of Mercy, and Sparta.

Food: Vegetarian... I think I've said enough above, your eyes are probably tired, I'll narrow it down right quick. I like stir fries, Asian influenced food, Indian dishes, and for a quick meal I have hummus and some veggies on some good bread. The best snack in the world is either wasabi seaweed or rice cakes with peanut butter, nuff said.

What's next

Well lately, nothing but some red wine or an IPA and a good book. I'm new to town and looking for some new things to do in New Haven.
