I am not always a nice, easy going, laid back guy, but I bake the heck out of some cupcakes. My friends would probably describe me as fun to be around, and someone they can always count on. Or they might say I am sarcastic and talk too dang much. But they won't say I'm boring.

I am an elementary school teacher. Which is actually becoming a more stressful job every year. I love making a significant impact on the lives of my students and their families. At least that's what I put on my resume. Someday I want to own my own movie theater. Then I can tell people to shut up during the previews, I like the trailers too. I think I will serve gourmet popcorn and beer. And maybe cupcakes.

I have an eleven year old daughter that lives nearby which is great. Of course that also means I have an ex-wife that lives nearby. Not always so great. No drama, but who wants to see their ex.

I have close family and friends that I care for dearly, but I'm ready to share the fun things in life with a beautiful smile. I am looking for a positive, funny, smart woman that loves to go to dinner and a movie, and have some laughs. Hopefully a great date will turn into sharing more adventures. Ultimately, sharing new adventures may lead to sharing a life.

Music - too much to list; recent albums from Muse, Soundgarden, Zac Brown Band, Owl City (with my daughter). Taking my kid to see Muse in March.
Food - anything local, love to try new places; most recent find Bayou Twist, it is Lao/Cajun for example boudin egg rolls. I can cook and bake fairly well myself.

My daughter. Mexican food. iTunes. A nearby movie theater. Good coffee. Laughter.

adventures I want to take. A game at Wrigley, a walk through the rain forest in Washington, a trip to England to find my namesake...
