I am voluptuous, soft, and sincere.
My Self-Summary
Typical "end of summer" life re-start prompted me to join... so
far, so good... though trying to summarize myself within 100 words
makes me fear i should have just written a haiku and went for the
introspective approach... self-analysis appears not to be my
specialty
off to the next category...
What I’m doing with my life
just trying to hang on without losing myself too much, or
forgetting that the ride is sometimes just about the roses...
I’m really good at
grammar, random historical facts and scrabble. not sure how
appealing that may be, but my dog seems to appreciate it and its
true...
The first things people usually notice about me
i like to use ellipses... though i use them incorrectly, which
contradicts something i may have above written.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
for books, anything bound between two covers works for me. can't
read enough, frankly. tend towards historical non-fiction,
though.
for music, dylan, and derivations thereof (the band, for instance).
'nuf said.
movies, not so much.
The six things I could never do without
1. a local bar, that won't sneer at me when i'm happy or judge me
when i'm not...
2. a cold beer at said bar
3. a bartender that knows enough to enable each of the above
4. a book. any book. need to read.
5. my dog, who knows that when the bar is closed, a little bit of
drool on my sneaker always cheers me up
6. a toy for my dog, because sometimes i get pissed about the drool
on the sneaker...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
whether there's a better way to earn a living than working for the
man...
On a typical Friday night I am
already planning about a hundred things to accomplish during the
weekend, knowing the entire time that come sunday night i'll be
trying to figure out how the weekend disappeared so quickly
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
nope. maybe over a few beers, glasses of wine or shots... but not
here.
You should message me if
you've been through it enough to know that sometimes, you just have
to take a chance...
