I am compassionate, passionate, and vegan.
My Self-Summary
I've gotta be the coolest person ever. Pretty much. I do all kinds
of cool art, I
break dance, do all kinds of
athletic things, I'm in tippy top shape, I'm
Vegan, I cook all kinds of healthy
delicious shit, I'm studying
engineering, I live alone and have a
cool place.
I'm 24, and a very motivated positive person. What can I say,
pictures say more, and more than that is meeting. I've had mixed
luck with meeting people online and do well in person too, but I'm
hoping to meet someone who I might not catch at the places I go on
weekends. I'm open for each experience that comes as a case by
case.
A smart girl is the biggest turn on to me. A strong personality is
good. I am a really positive person, and I have a lot of motivation
in life. Finding the same in someone else would be nice. I want to
be with someone where there is mutual empowerment and motivation in
some ways among all the other great things like sharing some good
wine over a Anchorman. lol.
I'm basically looking to have a good life. You too right? Right, so
I try learning as much as I can about how things work to make smart
decisions for the long term and the now. Hopefully I get through it
all without making things harder for anyone else. So compassion is
really big with me. I try my hardest to learn about how my
consumption really is effecting other living things. Hence why I'm
vegan. I'm a motivated do it yourself- educate and empower yourself
kind of guy. I've had a wide range of jobs and experiences for my
age, and am glad to say I'm on track with what I really want to be
doing. Engineering. All my life I've been into taking things apart,
building, creating and doing all kinds of art from drawing/
painting, to welding/ bronze casting to industrial/ functional like
fiberglass app. and auto body. Most people that have known me for a
long time wonder why I'm not in art school. So I've got my goals,
my plan, and I guess I'm just steady right now.
The three components to happiness are Something to do, Someone to
love, and something to look forward too. Well, I've got endless
hobbies, and a career, I've got so much to look forward too, my
lists are endless. And sure I love my family, I love maple syrup, I
love lamp! But finding someone to love, well thats something we all
have in common.
As far as my personality goes, I'm all about abolishing self
imposed constraints from fear. That about sums it up, but I'd
better explain. lol. I'm aries/ Pisces (cusp). My astrologer dad
likes to tell me that makes me both very active and passionate, as
well as very sensitive and emotional. True, I'm a deep thinker, but
I am very expressive and extroverted. I'm usually the loudest one
on the river, or the first to start dancing. I'd say I have a great
deal of fun more than most. I'm lucky to be alive, I know it, and I
make the most of my time. Did I mention I love
dancing?
It could be said that I am obsessed with music, although I probably
just love it. I enjoy spinning around on the kitchen floor,
singing, driving my awesome car (which I built), randomly drawing
something that pops in my head, jumping on things, climbing, long
boarding around town, cycling, running, lifting (obsessed with pull
ups), break dancing, writing (in a journal or on the computer, it
just rocks), floating down rivers in the summer, snowboarding, time
at the beach, cooking (i'm probably the best cook you'll ever
know), being modest, lol, taking pictures, Finding member forces in
a truss-NOT!, laughing, which lastly brings me to: the way my bff
and I play trivial pursuit. I'd have to know you better to explain
though.
Deal breakers for me include, avid carnivores, religion,
unhealthiness, lack of motivation, diseases, addiction, smokers,
and drug users.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm getting my Mechanical Engineering degree, and learning and
doing as much as I possibly can with my time. I'm on a never ending
journey for knowledge, and on the pursuit of a life filled with
happiness and rewards through conscious living. I've carried all
sorts of jobs, from the office to driving semi trucks. I've taught
myself trades that not only serve my own personal interest and are
employable trades, but that will benefit me for the rest of my
life. I don't sit by idly.
I’m really good at
Driving fast, cooking, typing fast, eating, swimming, jumping,
running.. lol, everything related to art like drawing painting,
carving, sculpting, welding, dancing. ...longboarding,
snowboarding, procrastinating, everything athletic, hand stands,
pull ups, building things. Pissing off random people that don't
like me apparently :)
The first things people usually notice about me
My blue steel. Otherwise it depends on what I'm doing. Most of the
time it's how fast I'm moving past them on my longboard, or the
fact that I drive on the right side of my car! Then I go in for the
high-five and they're like WTF? lol. I don't know, you tell me what
you notice first. And don't be a dick, cause if you say you notice
my 3 ears I'll get really offended.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: Vector Mechanics, Too Soon Old Too Late Smart, Materials
Science, Natural Capitalism, The Magic of Thinking Big, The
80/10/10 Diet. I read lots of forums 2.
I'd like to recommend Skinny Bitch!
Movies/ TV: Anchorman, Wedding crashers, all the X-men's, Stargate
Atlantis, Heroes, Royal Pains, House, Lost, Dexter, Lie to Me,
Family Guy, CSI- all, Big Fish, Bourne series, 300, Batman- all,
BORAT!, Closer, Dan in Real Life, Eternal Sunshine.., Everything
Jim Carey, In Good Company, Pink Panther (the new one), Team
America, Transformers, V for Vendetta, What is Love, Austin Powers
series, to name a few.
Food: VEGAN, VEGAN, VEGAN, VEGAN, VEGAN, VEGAN. Did you catch that?
Just being up front about it. Thing is, I probably am one of the
best cooks you don't know, and I am really NOT like any vegan you
probably know and definitely not like what you think. Truth is, my
veganism is one of the biggest things in my life. I thrive with it.
I'm among the healthiest people I know, and contrary to popular
belief, I AM NOT MISSING OUT ON ANYTHING. In fact studies show you
gain heightened senses. I have never had any for of meat in my life
and am glad. If you care to get to know me, you'll see I keep an
online gallery of food I make and I absolutely love making food for
nice girl. Very few of my friends are even vegetarian, so don't get
me wrong, I am no militant, I just feel the need to explain a
little since there is so much judgment and lack of knowledge here.
Plus I've found that most people get scared by the idea that
society lies, and in fact humans don't need animals for anything
other than friends. So if you love your juicy steak, then good for
you, don't respond to me :) But this is my page, so if u want to
read it- great.
My fav is stroganoff! When I indulge, I make a thai style noodle
vegetable dish with fried tofu, onions, peppers, and kale, over
yakisoba noodles with coconut sauce and teriyaki sauce. Depending
on what I have I can make it more delectable or basic.
You know, after hearing how much everybody loves to rub their fat
juicy steak in my face, it makes me want to become a little more
militant. But then again, there's always opposition in something
worth working towards, and never a shortage of the uneducated.
