I am smart(ish), easy going, and good mannered.
My Self-Summary
I'm a
Computer Science graduate, working in the
finance industry in
Guernsey. I like to go out, have fun,
watch
movies, and
listen to
music.
I like to play
video games, particularly on the
PS3,
Wii, and
DS. My favourite game of the moment is
probably Fallout 3, though I tend to play a lot of
FIFA 2010 as it is a lot more social
than blowing people into bloody chunks on my own. That used to say
Pro
Evolution Soccer 2009, but Pro10 sucks pretty hard.
What I’m doing with my life
Living and working in Guernsey in the Finance Industry, like 90% of
everyone else on the island.
I’m really good at
eating.
I was the first person to manage to eat the 64oz steak in an hour
at the local steakhouse.
The first things people usually notice about me
People don't notice me, not if I can help it. This would apparently
be backed up by my "The Boy Next Door" rating on that quiz.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Anything by Philip K. Dick really, Dan Browns books are quite good,
but very formulaic, Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash is pretty
good.
Mid 90's Marshall arts films are fun. Most things actiony. I like
the Matrix, the sequels aren't so hot though.
Musically I tend towards rocky/punk/ska stuff, with a particular
love of covers.
Foodwise, I love pretty much anything, but my current attempt to
lose weight has meant I am being hella good at the moment.
The six things I could never do without
My friends, water, and food.
To make it to six, I'll add Books, my Computer, and music.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
nothing, but thinking very hard about it.
On a typical Friday night I am
In the bar, with friends. Progressing on to mine to watch some
shoddy film, ideally under 90 minutes, and then play some PS3.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Nothing too indecent (those things are private for good reason).
You should message me if
you think that the languages options here should have better
representation from Computer languages than just C++ and LISP, or
are just generally not a complete idiot. Some idiocy is accepted,
or I'd be quite the hypocrite.
