I am inexplicable, dedicated, and tie-dyed.

My Self-Summary

I'm a born and bred Memphian who just returned south after a venture to the midwest. I've had this screen name in various forms since I was 12, I maintain it although it does not quite so accurately describe me as it did a decade ago. I certainly hope that I've diversified a bit since then. I'm intelligent, liberal, brutally honest, and a stoner. I fit the stoner stereotype in many ways for a good decade before I became one, though.

What I’m doing with my life

I obtained a BA in Economics with a Math minor in May 2006, andI'm about to start my 4th tax season with H&R Block. Also, I'm expecting my first child in March. I'm mildly concerned that I will pretty much automatically be raising a 3rd generation hippie. I am considering teaching.

I’m really good at

Procrastination, honesty, loyalty, spontaneity, variety puzzle books, knitting, standardized tests, math (at least in theory!...wow, that came off as a terrible joke...oops).

The first things people usually notice about me

My hair, my eyes, my lips...hopefully, at least. I've been told that I have a lovely voice, but there are certainly occasions when I daresay that is not true.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

A) Harry Potter, A series of Unfortunate Events (do not deem either of the former series of books as just for kids until you give them a real chance), many books written by Hunter S. Thompson, Kurt Vonnegut, David Sedaris, etc., A Confederacy of Dunces, A Clockwork Orange...and so on. I read a great deal but always feel I should be reading more. B)I'll get to this. C) Arcade Fire, Beck, Belle & Sebastian,The Beatles, the Zombies, Bob Dylan, Beach Boys, Velvet Underground, Wilco, My Morning Jacket, the Byrds, the Doors, the Monkees, White Stripes, Queen, etc. D) I must admit, I'm a bit picky.

The six things I could never do without

Music, cell phone, decent reading material, true friends, sufficient sleep, a clue

On a typical Friday night I am

Wishing Saturday wasn't the one day of the week I DO work!

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm gonna have a baby! WTF?!
