I am self-sufficient, geektastic, and a tivo-a-holic.

My Self-Summary

I know it's entirely ridiculous to say I'm bad about writing about myself n yadda yadda ppllttthh... but it's the truth.

So lets just get through the basics... I'm uber self reliant (as in I've taken care of myself & others around me for as long as I can remember), because of that I expect the same out of the people around me... well unless it's an old friend that got grandfathered in before the no d'bag clause (you know who you are).

I'm a recovering party kid that has always had a full time job & too much responsibility. I still love to go out dancing to house music when a good dj or pa act comes through... I'll even travel for em still (but it's gotta be good for that).

My most favorite thing in the world is my dog. She's been my sanity at times... always there for me no matter how many names I call her a hooker.

Mmmmm... I'm sure there's more, but I'm too brain tiered from working all week. Prolly'll get back to this a lil' later.

What I’m doing with my life

Right now my life is pretty busy, but boring at the same time...

Between work & taking classes online, I barely have time to get out. But I DEF try to make time for puttin on my dancin' shoes.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Lately I've been reading a lot of memoirs while on the train on the way to work (seems to be the only time I can make myself stay still long enough to read). My most recent fav's have been Chelsea Handler's "Are you there Vodka, It's me Chelsea" and "Heavier then Heaven:A Biography of Kurt Cobain" I know they're really opposite ends of the spectrum, but if I stayed in the same genre all the time I'd get bored.

Not a huge movie fan... most Hollywood stuff is crap, I tend to be into documentaries & indies.

As far as music I can get down to just about anything except the Mexican Polka (can't remember what it's really called, but it drives me bonkers). However, most of the music I own is electronica/dance music with majority of that being house or some sub genre of house. But every now & again I break out some old hiphop, alt-rock, british rap or go through a pop-radio phase (that freaks out some of my close friends, because I'm about as far from pop as the come w/o going over the edge).

Food... I'm usually down to try anything that doesn't have red meat or pork in it... I'm not a freaky pseudo-vegetarian, just some things aren't for some people. I don't care what anyone else eats. My fav ethnic food is DEF Mexican, I'm always hopeful that the place will be playing Reggaeton instead of having a Mariachi band, though...

The six things I could never do without

1 - dog
2 - cell phone
3 - sleep
4 - house music
5 - sneek's
6 - dance floor
