My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm genuine, thoughtful and sincere. Extremely loyal and loving. I have a very strong sense of justice. I'm the guy who not only gives up his seat on the train but asks other men to do it when its appropriate (none of the dozens of people I've asked has EVER told me no). There you have it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Reading numbers, painting words..
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Articulating and simplifying complex ideas. I'm also very thoughtful and compassionate, but I am extremely good at taking care of myself and protecting the interest of the people I care about. If I set my mind to something, its generally done.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People note my confidence and ability to clearly articulate what is happening around me and with me. I'm very observant. I also have a dark sense of humor which can be clever but intimidating to some people. You are not one of them, you will be fine :) People also notice that I don't smile much in pics. Not sure why, but maybe people keep forgetting to say "CHEESE!!"
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
the edge of a sheet or pillow case (ever since i was a kid, i needed that in my ear to go to sleep)
my family and closest friends
ability to continue learning
ill stop at 5 because im a deviant.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Self improvement, the things happening around me, finding someone special to lavish with attention (and being the kind of person that that kind of person deserves). Attention in the short term, perhaps growing long term.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Relaxing. Taking it easy. The burning need to "go out" on a Friday has long since passed. Maybe I'm at dinner, maybe makin dinner. Maybe drinking scotch. Always enjoying myself.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like the warehousing of people. I think that dating sites are such warehouses, very much like an IKEA or your favorite outlet. The vast majority of things there you certainly dont need, and much of it you dont want.. You go anyway, look, touch, turn away; yet, with some feeling of satisfaction for simply having been there, though quite possibly with a sense of overwhelmed anxiety. Too much "noise".. Either way, at least on a dating site, it takes me mere seconds to get there and I dont have to get ready. And nobody, except some of the people already secretly there can see me. We nod, wink and smile on occasion, but generally go our own separate ways.. And put up walls, like "responds very selectively". Lets put them all the way in the back, but on a bottom shelf..

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are capable of being loved. You value family. You value loyalty. You don't think that "making you laugh" is among the most critical attributes in a relationship.
