I'm an outgoing person who loves a good laugh. I am happiest when I'm outdoors, you simply can't beat the view from your tent on a clear night in Yosemite! People are a priority in my life, whether they're family near or far or friends old or new. I enjoy a good challenge and often find myself in surprising situations, like swimming from Alcatraz to San Francisco, playing on an adult dodgeball team, or roadtriping from Poland to Croatia. I like to follow politics and current events, especially when served up by John Stewart. Living in Latin America was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, but there's also a lot to be said about a sunny afternoon in SF, whether you're in Golden Gate Park or the rooftop of the SFMOMA. I enjoy a quick wit, an interesting conversation and a sense of adventure.

I believe in doing what you love and making a positive impact, so I work in and study public health, focusing on strategies to improve access to care for underserved communities.
