My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So admittedly the first time I wrote this I took literally no time to do it and threw down some canned responses for my answers so my profile wasn't completely empty. I wasn't really sure what to do or what to write, and I'm still not but why not just go with a giant list of random nonsense about myself? Sound like a plan? Awesome, let's do this thing.

-I love to stay active, it helps me stay sane, and I am usually into a different sport or style of exercise every few months. I like to keep it mixed up.
-I used to be a horribly picky eater, and I am still pretty bad about it. I have, however, been trying to do better about it.
-I laugh when I get nervous and make jokes at inappropriate times.
-I tend to be quiet when I am first getting to know people but then once I am comfortable I am very talkative.
-I love to be ridiculous and totally embrace being weird.
-I work with kids that have emotional and behavioral disorders, and I love it.
-Just to answer the question before you ask, yes it is a "rewarding career," but there is also a lot about it that is far from it. Although I do love that I can say that I have had the way a child was threatening to kill me worked into a Christmas Carol.
-I really dislike staged photos and will do everything in my power to ruin them with ridiculous faces and/or gestures. I can't help it, I understand that photos are for memory purposes. Personally, I like to remember things naturally and no one just stands around smiling in straight lines. Let's be honest most people are miserable in lines.
-If you are trying to get a hold of me and I miss your call; text me, do not leave a voice mail it will not be checked. Seriously, I check my voice mail once every 3-4 months.

Well that is a sufficiently random assortment of factoids about myself. If there is anything else you would like to know about me, feel free to ask.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I currently work with kids who have emotional and behavioral disorders. I teach a couple hours a day of therapeutic group activities where I basically teach them how to re-enter regular classrooms and make friends. Well, that and collect dozens of hilarious stories along the way.
Every now and then when I feel inspired, I will pick up a freelance design job or put together a line or two of ceramic wares. They have bounced between serious work, simple designs, really ornate works, mustache mugs, and most recently were some meme based mugs for Christmas last year.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making pots, watching sports, staying active, making people with weird senses of humor laugh, and I have been known to throw back an adult beverage or two with excellent results.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my ability to make terrible jokes and think they're hilarious. Well that and I have been told that I have some relatively awesome brown eyes.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-Sarcasm
-Really bad puns
-My phone
-My family
-A good pair of running shoes
-Basketball
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Finding some kind of trouble to get into, either hanging out with my family or friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I recently changed my last name to my mother's last name because my dad was never really a part of my life, and she is kind of an amazing person.
