Nice guy, laid-back, professional.

I work as a college professor (social work). I love teaching and also enjoy conducting research with students and doing service activities. I have many interests outside of work, as well, including all types of food, movies (especially thrillers and indie-types), books (memoirs, novels, biographies, short stories), music, walking/hiking, biking (just recreational), travel near and far, friends, family, pets. Love the beach, love to be outside. Like to sit on the porch and talk with friends.

I love to read. I really like short stories and memoirs. Some favorite writers include Flannery O'Connor, Mary Gaitskill, Scott Heim. I love movies - out or in. I especially like thrillers and interesting indie-type stuff. Music - appreciate all sorts but mostly into 80s - B-52s, U2, R.E.M. are favorites but also stuff like The Smiths, The Cure, etc., etc. Food - love it!! Really like different types of ethnic cuisine and good ole Southern.
