Hi!
I'm originally from Seattle and have lived in the OC for the past three years. I'm here for graduate school and let's face it the fantastic weather! Before California, I lived in Minnesota for four years while in college.

What I’m doing with my life
Right at this moment, I'm still in school. Within the next few
years I should be finished with my PhD! It takes up a lot of time,
but when I have a few spare moments, I love to be outside whether its exploring the
beaches or out east towards the mountains and deserts. I love to
hike, a few months
back I hiked to the top of the highest peak in Southern California,
San Georgonio. I also love to workout. I'm working towards
participating in my first 1/2 marathon. That being said, I
also love hanging out indoors. I love cooking, watching movies any kind really,
drawing, and
reading (mostly
the scary stuff like Stephen King).

I think I'm really good at listening. I consider myself to be many
people's go to person when they have a problem.
I've always considered myself good at many things, but not truly great at any one thing. I tend to dabble in things and have many hobbies.

In appearance, I have very curly hair and bright blue eyes. People
typically notice and comment on that.
In a large group of people, people may notice I'm more shy and reserved until I feel comfortable. However, once I'm at ease I'm sarcastic, silly, and love to laugh.

My favorite books...hmm I have many. Like above, I love books by
Stephen King
and Dean
Koontz. My new favorite book is The Shadow of the Wind.
It is really complicated and the mysteries slowly unravel. I love
books where I have to keep up to solve the puzzle before the main
character does.
I love so many movies from so many categories! Looking at my movie shelf, I can see the Die Hard] trilogy, Indiana Jones trilogy, but I can also see movies like Lars and the Real Girl and Silence and the Lambs. I also have series of television shows like Arrested Development and The Office.
For music, I like a little bit of everything. Right now I'm into The Who, Dave Matthews Band, The Killers, Interpol, The Bravery, and ABBA.
In terms of food, I'm game to try anything once.

My future life after graduate school.
On a typical Friday night I am
usually exhausted from the work week. I typically stay in and watch
movies. However, some Friday nights I can be found out with friends
at the bar, the movie theater, out to dinner etc. It just depends
on my mood and what others have been planning.
