My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Decided to change up the profile a bit!!

I enjoy the simple things in life. Going camping, being in the middle of nature...now that would be a vacation for me!

I am 29 years old and have lived on the CT shoreline my entire life. Friends and family are quite important to me and I will stand by them until my dying day.

I love music.

I love to laugh.

I live by the saying "treat others the way you want to be treated" and while it doesn't always work out that way, I know I at least did my part.

I love dogs. I have 2, they are my world.

Someday I want to own an all gray cat, or at least I like the idea of owning an all gray cat. I have never owned a cat, so it might get interesting.

Kids and I get along quite well. Probably because I love to laugh and have a good time.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for a town, well two towns, and hopefully 3 towns soon. Yes, I am a go-getter. I am not one who waits for things to happen. I have worked for the Town of Madison for 2+ years, and have been with the Town of Southington for almost a year (though I only just started getting paid).
I like working with the elderly and feel that it is my calling to do what I do.
I plan on going back to school next year to complete my Master's, but we'll see where life takes me!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I love music. I'd like to think I am good at playing the piano, but I don't practice nearly enough. I have a quirky sense of humor that makes people laugh, and I am really good at laughing myself. I can never pass up a good laugh.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I am friendly...I always get complimented on my smile and the good mood that I present.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Robert B. Parker. I usually can pick up any of his books and just get entwined with his words. His Spencer series is one of my favorite. I also enjoy Jodi Picoult, and Ivirn Yalom.

Movies: don't really have a favorite, but I love comedies...it goes along with the laughing bit =) However, Donnie Darko, Born in East LA, The Proposal, Just One of the Guys, The Blind Side, Remember Me, The Ugly Truth, Eat Pray Love, and the Twilight movies are some of my favorites.

TV: Don't watch much per-say. I fall asleep to "nick at nite". who can pass up some old Full House reruns? The only other show that I try to watch is Jeopardy. My dad and I like to see how many questions we can get right.

Music: People tend to say..."I listen to everything....except country, rap, opera etc." For me, when it comes to music, I listen to everything, the rap, the country, even that good ole classical music! Music runs through my veins, it alters my moods, it keeps me alive. I do however prefer classic rock and 90's hip hop.

Food: Can't pass up a good pizza. However, I don't eat beef, and seafood barely, it has to be fried for me to even consider.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no order, and after food, water, and air to breathe are taken out the materialistic things I can not live without

My dogs. A 10year old Yellow lab Max who is my big baby, and my 3 year old beagle mix rescue Jazz who is the sweetest little girl ever. Well she is sweet if she knows you, otherwise she will just growl at you.

My car. I drive a lot, and if I don't have wheels, I can't get to where I need to be.

Friends and Family. They are combined because most of my friends I consider my family!

Music. It is a relatively big part of my life, and I could never live without either listening or playing. Sirius XM is my savior!

The unknown. If I knew everything, what would keep me motivated?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life. I try to think of where I will be in the future while focusing on my life today.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually trying to get to bed early since I work Saturday mornings. If I do get out I am usually at a friends house watching TV or a movie. Nothing drastic, I think we are too old for that now =)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a hard time sleeping if my dogs aren't with me.
