Hi, I'm Benjamin. Pretty much born and raised here in Minnesota. I was born in Nebraska actually, but let's keep that a secret.

Some of my favorite things to do are sitting on a patio grabbing drinks, going to shows, and basically socializing with people. I think I'm pretty good at it, I usually get along with almost anyone, unless they hate differences in people.

I'm an animal lover, but don't have any currently. Had them growing up, and want them again, but with my work schedule I don't really see that as a possibility anytime soon. I don't hunt, I have some friends that do, but I don't think I could shoot a deer unless it was life or death.

Whenever I put on a sweatshirt and realize it doesn't have any pockets, I'm disappointed.

I love the smell of rice cooking.

I hate seeing people stick their legs out of car window. Didn't they see Death Proof?

I think it's funny when businesses have dirty sounding names. Like kinkos and pickle park.

I work four ten hour nights Tuesday through Friday. Just putting that on the line.

Making people laugh.

Forgetting where I parked.

Bear hugs.

Picking the slowest check out lane.

Latching on to other people's goodbyes. You know when you leave a party and someone makes a big fuss about it? I leave when someone else does so I don't get the big show.

Always feel like there should be a things I'm bad at section too.

I've been told a lot that I have a kind face/eyes.

A lot of people think I look jewish too.

The weirdest compliment I ever got was in college. Some guy told me I had hair like a greek god, I don't have curly hair anymore.

Some people associate my name with the song benny and the jets. Please don't.

My favorite authors are David Sedaris, Augusteen Burroughs, and Tom Robbins.

Movies are too many to list, but I can say I'm usually not a fan of action or horror.

Parks and Rec., The walking dead, cartoons, New girl, how I met your mother and friends. I've recently gotten into the new normal and raising hope.

My favorite types of food are thai and Mexican, of course you can never beat pizza or a great burger. Cream cheese wontons. I don't like mushrooms or guacamole, but I haven't tried that much of the second, so if you have a recipe that everyone fawns over, i'll give it a go. Phó.

Music... today I listened to eels, jeff Buckley, pearl jam, ghostface killah, Fiona apple, father john misty, pink floyd, mayer Hawthorne, frightened rabbit and frank ocean, pete yorn. I really hovered over the e-j and p sections in my library. I also listened to ani difranco and the tallest man on earth.

I'm going to add beverages.
Beer, whiskey, bloody marys, tea, coffee, smoothies, v8, flavoured sparkling water(ever tried putting a crystal light packet in sparkling water?), shakes, root beer floats. Okay now I want all of those.

Good food, good beer, good music, family, friends, and enjoying life.

Wondering if I should just go to super targets to meet women, you girls flock there.

Do women drink water from the bathroom faucet, or is that a guy thing?

Do I need to like something if I comment on it?
