My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a retired teacher with two grown children and two grandchildren. My family is very important to me, and I am grateful to be a part of my grandchildren's lives. I have lived in Maine my entire life and enjoy exploring new places and trying new activities. I am an avid reader and enjoy quiet nights at home, and I spend a lot of time walking with my little dog. I enjoy cross country skiing in the winter, and being outside as much as possible during the summer.

I can be a bit reserved, but also love good conversations once I get to know someone. I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh. I'm down to earth and very loyal and try to take life's challenges in stride.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Since retiring, I volunteer actively for several local organizations. I substitute teach in the same school I taught in for years. I spend a lot of time with my family, and love spending time with my daughters, grandchildren, and friends.

I enjoy going to plays and movies and love the Friday night art walk. I love the beach and working in the yard. I recently got a new bike and I love exploring new bike paths. I enjoy dinners out and good conversation.

I go to the library regularly and am always finding new fiction and non-fiction books that look interesting. I love trying new restaurants and especially love seafood.
