My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Nobody likes self-summarizing and I have no clever anecdotes or one-liners that sum me up well.

I'll try to put it simply: if you like being ridiculous, making or listening to funny sounds/faces, and/or like music that may, at times, seem weird or annoying to most people - we have a lot to discuss.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Adjusting to Brooklyn living. Painting my hands with espresso. Waking up later and later everyday. Playing instruments here or there or everywhere possible. Staying out/up too late. Wingin' it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
picking topics no one wants to talk about

being really friendly and not knowing how to flirt

memorizing things, especially the trivial
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am intensely patient
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I don't read as often as I'd like to. I like to read narrative historical and science-related things, and anything relating to anthropology or religion interests me. Fiction/science fiction works too. I have trouble reading if I'm not in a car for extended periods. American Psycho, VALIS Trilogy, The God Delusion, Less Than Zero, Death by Black Hole, King Leopold's Ghost - all books I've enjoyed.

Comics: The Maxx is one of my favorites. Ex Machina, The Boys, Orbiter, Y: The Last Man, Crossed, Preacher, Sandman, Fear Agent, Transmetropolitan.

Movies: Jackie Brown, No Country for Old Men, John Carpenter's The Thing, Star Wars (c'mon), There Will Be Blood, Young Frankenstein, Ghostbusters 2✌, Orange County.

All Mel Brooks and all Quentin Tarantino.

Shows: I know more about The Simpsons than most people should, but only the earlier, important seasons. Cartoons and interesting voices are important to me.

"I hate television. I hate it as much as peanuts. But I can't stop eating peanuts." - Orson Welles

Things that stand out: Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Wire, Breaking Bad, Adventure Time, Futurama, The IT Crowd, Garth Merenghi's Dark Place, Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law, Delocated, 90s SNL, The Kids in the Hall, Upright Citizens Brigade.

I am an asshole that will explain, in detail, why The Walking Dead is disappointing and enraging.

Music: There are no girls on this website that listen to any metal.
Dysrythmia, Behold the Arctopus, Charlie Hunter, Béla Bartók, Intronaut, The Mars Volta, Mastodon, Zevious, Tom Waits, Charles Mingus, Jaco Pastorius, Pat Metheny, Dinosaur Jr., Against All Authority, Dead Kennedys, Dead Kenny Gs, Skerik, Primus, Frank Zappa, King Crimson, Kevin Hufnagel, Lye By Mistake, Tribal Tech, Attention Deficit, Michael Manring, Gary Willis, Edgar Meyer, J.S. Bach, Garage A Trois, Iron Chic, Psyopus, The Crinn, James Taylor, Hiromi Uehara, Esbjorn Svenson Trio, The Police, Terry Riley, Yes, Geryon, Consider the Source, Necrophagist, Meek is Murder, National Sunday Law - I like talking about music a lot. A LOT.

Food: Hot peppers and Gorgonzola. I will try anything that won't kill me and even some things that might. I do not like mashed potatoes and you have to be really impressive in your potato preparation for me to enjoy them. The only other foods I refuse at this point are bananas and any melon. But try to surprise me! Maybe I haven't had them correctly.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-A guitar or bass
-My brother
-Time to be lazy
-My bicycle
-A break from winter weather
-Access to delicious foods

I'm pretty adaptable and capable of doing without, but none of these could be absent permanently.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
whether or not I'm making any progress in life.

strange sounds and how they might have been or will be produced.

redundant patterns that get stuck in my head.

"Those are boobs."

songs I shouldn't be thinking about so often. (Think: Frankie Valli's "Grease," or Billy Ocean's "Caribbean Queen.")

becoming The Hulk

ladies
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
doing anything that's available, whether it be playing a show, going out, sitting around my house with or without friends, practicing, or working.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I wish I liked whiskey
