I love New England and found after living other places that I need to have 4 separate seasons and to be near both the water and the mountains. I know, I know, I want it all. We're so fortunate to live in a place like this. I mean, really! A beautiful dirve in either direction and we get the choice of fresh or salt water or hiking/skiing in the mountains. How cool is that?!
Food and cooking is a passion, dining out a true pleasure. Oh, and a great dive offers as much fun and interest as fine dining. But I tend to steer clear of chain restaurants. I probably subscribe to too many cooking/food magainzes.
I have been fortunate enough to do some traveling and look forward to doing more in the future. I get a little antsy if I don't get out and about every year.
My family, pets (big galumpus Newfy, and crazy gray kitty) and friends are probably the most important things in my life and I don't know what I'd do without them. They certainly keep me grounded. Hard to be uppity with dog hair permanently woven into your fleece...
I guess I'm looking for someone who's honest, likes to laugh, is willing to try new things and be a bit of a partner in crime.
And while I can talk to just about anyone I do have trouble expressing my self in the written word. (which may be apparent)
I'm also very good at laughing - especially at myself.
Easier to say what I don't enjoy: I like to read, but don't get to as much as I'd like - not really into romance novels or any book that is too large fit in a bag (too slow a reader)
Music is similar - better to just say I don't like 'angry' music - like headbanger rock or angry rap.
I can say that I LOVE the Princes Bride -
And I must admit that my guilty pleasure TV show is Dancing with the Stars (please don't tell anyone)
good, hearty laughter
some little adventure/travel
My friends and family
