I am witty, funny, and smart.
My Self-Summary
I am a smart, slightly sarcastic, cynical romantic who loves all
things chocolate, the ocean, listening to NPR, and eating out. I am
an opinionated, intellectual, feminist, liberal who likes to cook,
bakes a mean chocolate torte, and spends her weekends going for a
long
run, seeing
friends, and/or hitting the road for an adventure. I enjoy live
music,
theater, and
shopping. Some of my best
friends are the four legged types of the
dog variety; I am at times quite intuitive a
la Radar on
M*A*S*H; and, I tend to be quite
empathetic and kind.
What I’m doing with my life
I am working as an event planner, loving living in Portland, and
appreciating having a job, my health, and my friends.
I’m really good at
Baking cookies,
pies, bars, and cakes--especially if it involves chocolate.
Taking a 5,001 details of chaos and turning them in to an organized
project and plan
Finding
bargains

I spend a lot of time thinking about
How things work or don't work.
Social dynamics.
My friends.
Why people have such a hard time using their turn signals.
On a typical Friday night I am
Recovering from a long week at work with a good meal, some down
time, and watching the latest HBO/Showtime series online or on a
DVD from the library or going out with a friend to have a relaxed
meal and one of the many restaurants in Portland that I have yet to
try.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I talk like a pirate at time in terms of swearing a lot and
see/hear double entendres constantly.
You should message me if
You like a long, lingering meal filled with good food, great
desserts, and witty
banter.
You love
dogs, long
runs, and
hot chocolate in the
rain.
You are between 35 and 55--figure that ten up or ten down is a good
ratio.
