I'm half Italian - half southern belle, a coffee lover, a book
lover, a fan-girl, a foodie, a gym-aholic, a Harley lover, a movie
junkie, a dog owner, a cat lover, a talker not a texter, and a so
much more than I could ever list.
My family is more important than anything else to me in this world,
and my close friends are family.
And if want to to know more than what you read on this page feel
free to ask.
What I’m doing with my life
My life is work, work out, and play.
I spend my days caffienating the masses. I am a Cafe Manager for
Barnes and Noble. So I get paid to talk to people all day long,
come up with creative drinks that help people make it through their
day, and hang out in a book store. It's a dream job. I couldn't
like my co-workers more, or have more fun on a daily basis. I
consider myself lucky.
After I leave my dream job, I generally head to Planet Fitness (or
Planet Judgement as my brother likes to call it, he's a Lunk).
Going to the gym, or working out in some capacity has become a big
part of my life since the beginning of 2012, and will continue to
be that way. It started as a challenge among friends, and in the
process I've lost 53lbs. I'm very focused on taking care of myself,
and am l looking for someone with a similar outlook on life.
When I'm not working, or working out, I try to enjoy life as much
as possible. Hitting up midnight movies with my girlfriends, going
to indie rock shows, flying out of state to see a comedian,
shopping, checking out the newest restaurant in town, and anything
else that strikes my fancy at the moment.
I’m really good at
Writing short stories
Being game for last minute adventures
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my smile. Possibly cause I'm almost always smiling. I feel
like it takes too much effort to be upset, so why not smile, and
make the best out of what life throws at you.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I don't know know if I could pick a favorite book, because I love
so many. My favorite authors are Stephen King, Elmore Leonard, Anne
Rice, Carl Hiaasen, and Christopher Moore. I'll give pretty much
any movie a shot, but I could do without Chick Flicks. I like
everything except country music, and I've traveled out of state for
indie rock shows. And as far as food goes, I'm adventurous enough
to try anything once.
The six things I could never do without
The geek board on Pinterest
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Writing the great american novel, selling the movie rights, and
winning an Oscar after writing the screenplay. When I'm not
thinking about that, I'm mentally planning my trip to comic-con in
San Diego, my next visit to New Orleans, hoping the Saints can pull
things together and win the next Superbowl, my next cooking
endeavor, and probably a million other things.
On a typical Friday night I am
I am probably at the gym. Or sadly because I work early on
Saturdays, it's possible on a Friday night I'm in bed. But I'm
always game to shake things up, and try something different.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I hate!!!! Texting. I would much rather talk on the phone. And
going along with that, I am the worst at returning text messages.
You should message me if
You have more to say than...
U are cute
Or any such thing.
Don't get me wrong, if you think I'm cute that's stellar. Just be a
little more creative about it.
You should message me if you want someone to go shoot darts with,
play pool with, catch a game with, have a good meal with, go to the
gym with. Or just hop in the car with and go on a random adventure.
