I still can't figure out how i end up on OKCupid. I think a friend convinced me to sign up so i could take the quizzes. I am a total nerd, but in a cute way ;). I don't know why but I've always had a passion and a drive to learn and expand my horizons. I guess that is why I also love travel...learning about languages and cultures around the globe makes me feel alive.

I enjoy people watching i find human interaction and behavior fascinating. Don't believe me? try it sometime. Go to a mall or park, somewhere with a lot of people, it is amazing what humans do!

I cherish my friends, we can and have spent hours at coffee shops talking about our lives, politics and the world around us. My friends are the kind of people who make everyday moments into memories.

I also should mention I can not spell, do a back flip, or burp on demand. Alas, it seems no one is perfect.

Who knows? Whatever path i follow it will work towards equality, help humankind, and improve the world for us all.

Recently I have been working on channeling my artsy/crafty side. I enjoy painting and over the past 6 months have improved. I am shy about my work but if you ask nicely I might show you pictures of my work. I am also learning to crochet. I think everyone might be getting scarfs as holiday gifts this year, then again maybe not.

My outgoing attitude, sense of humor and social nature. Some people say they notice my hair(although that was before I gave it to Locks of Love) or my eyes. Personally I think the first thing people notice about me probably varies from one person to the next and depends on the circumstances in which I am meeting someone. For example if I meet someone in the library at 4am the night before a paper is due the first thing they may notice is the big dark circles under my eyes. However, if I meet that same person at a bar/club my smile or some other traditional cliche may be the first thing noticed.

Books: I read 2 - 3 books a month, mostly non-fiction, if you want the details send me a message.

Movies: Office Space, Crash, Ice Storm, Shawshank Redemption, Finding Nemo, the Contender, Singin' in the Rain...all Movie Musicals, and all John Hughes films.

Music: anything and everything with a good beat. if makes me want to move then its probably a good song!

I love food, cooking and exotic flavors! Anything spicy. Indian, Thai and Italian top my list! I also enjoy cooking and discovering new flavors and creations. I am an amazing chef and if you ask nicely i might cook for you.

This question annoy's me, besides the obvious: oxygen, clean water, food, shelter, warmth and human interaction; I can't imagine anything else that would not be a luxury. So many people in this world do without so much that it is hard for me to imagine a material possession that I could not live without. Sure, I do enjoy the things I have but I realize that "stuff" is material and what matters most is having people to share life's experiences.

how to better myself and the world as a whole. i honestly worry about people, the earth and the environment. my mind wonders to thoughts of life and how to make it better; not just for myself but for all persons.

Out with friends. I am social and enjoy spending time with friends and family. Although, "typical" is not a word i usually use to describe my life i can promise most Friday nights are not spent alone. I may be at a coffee shop, a bar, a movie, or just spending time at a friends house. I use my Friday and Saturday nights to catch up with the people i care about.
