I am creative, quick witted, and I sing bad 80s pop.

My Self-Summary

Hello, internetters. I'm a graphic designer who just started his own design studio. I'm a native Wisconsinite who moved to Minnesota ten years ago. I love Minnesota sports, British television, discovering music, and cooking. I hate driving in winter weather, all radio and television commercials, phone calls that start with "Whacha doin?", and Nicolas Cage. I love a fun night out, but sometimes, I'd rather have a warm night in.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm flexing my entrepreneurial muscles. My company is young and small, but I love it. Well, I love it if my clients would pay me on time.

I’m really good at

I am really good at karaoke, making electronic devices work, cooking, organizing music in iTunes, Trivial Pursuit, public speaking, forgetting people's names, remembering old TV themes, and bullsh!tting.

The first things people usually notice about me

The bioluminescence I use as a defense mechanism.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Movies:
Dr Strangelove, The Blues Brothers, WarGames, Spaceballs, Major League, Anchorman.

Music:
Chicago (1969-1978, not the crappy, '80s, synth stuff), Blood Sweat and Tears, Tower of Power, Earth Wind and Fire, The Spinners, Otis Redding, The Who, Cake, They Might Be Giants, The Killers, Kaiser Chiefs, Jet, and many, many more! All on one iPod (or 48 LPs).

Music (Guilty Pleasures):
Chicago (the crappy, '80s, synth stuff), Electric Light Orchestra, Boz Skaggs, Billy Joel, Olivia Newton-John, The Bangles, Atlantic Starr, Journey, Styx.

Television:
House, Lost, 30 Rock, The Office, How I Met Your Mother, Mythbusters, Dexter, Mad Men, Monk, Psych, Burn Notice, Numbers, The Soup, The Simpsons.

Food:
Chipotle burritos, the burgers at Claddagh's, pork loin, shrimp on pasta, and my very special recipe involving polska kilbasa, sauerkraut, and pocket bread.

The six things I could never do without

1) A broadband internet connection.
2) My iPhone.
3) My iPod.
4) Good food.
5) Good friends.
6) My family.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

...getting my Mii to look like me.
...how to make a better grilled cheese sandwich.
...how to get funny quotes from this week's "30 Rock" and "Psych" into everyday conversation.
...whether or not my favorite typefaces are getting overused.
...how obscure my Facebook status updates should be.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I listen to old Loveline radio shows as I fall asleep. I'm able to drift away to seven-year-old episodes of Adam Carolla ranting at irresponsible, 14-year-old callers.

You should message me if

...you want to go to there.
