My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Decided to update this...

I've lived in Seattle for a few years now. I grew up in the PNW but more so in eastern Washington. After about a year of college I moved to Salt Lake City. Definitely decided the city life is for me, and moved up to Seattle with a buddy of mine. I've been infatuated with Seattle since I was a kid growing up on all the music this city was producing. I do love this city, but would really like to move to the east coast at some point, even just for a little while.

Music has always been a big part of my life. Unfortunately I lack any talent (trust me, in Jr. High I was forced to take band class, and basically faked playing the saxophone for two years). But still music is what drives me and inspires me. For the year I spent in college I was a part of our entertainment board and was in charge of bringing bands to the campus. I got to work with a lot of great bands and meet a lot of people, and I know if I ever find the right opportunity to work in the music industry, I would be happy forever.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working. Aren't we all? Right now I'm in retail and recently got promoted, so I guess I'm doing well. I really do love business and everything it involves. I've worked for some companies you might not expect, but for me it's not really about the product, I just love the business.

What else I'm doing... I've just started on a project to write a script. In the past I've written short stories and poetry, but I haven't written anything more than a few pages. As I've never written a scrip before, I'm coming at this from a very odd angle and plan on putting it together like a puzzle. If I can ever complete it I would consider that a win, but if I could ever sell it... well that would just be amazing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I don't really have any hidden talents and I'm far to humble to say I'm really good at anything. I guess here's a few things I'd say I do well at...
Naming that tune
Making Plans
Staying up late
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

However much I love to write, I don't read. Well I rarely read, and when I do it's rarely fiction. I like books on existentialism and philosophy.

I enjoy every genre of movies. Just to name a few favorite...
Almost Famous - Fight Club - Singles - Donnie Darko - Mall Rats - Forgetting Sarah Marshall - Jeff Who Lives At Home - Safety Not Guaranteed - All of the American Pie movies - A Good Old Fashioned Orgy - High Fidelity

As far as television goes, I enjoy quite a few shows. Everything I watch I have to get online... I don't have cable.
Community - Entourage - How I Met Your Mother - Modern Family - Mad Men - Weeds - The League - Archer - Wilfred - Parks and Rec - The Office - The Newsroom - Happy Endings - Always Sunny

Like I've said about music, something I could go on about for hours. I have a really wide variety I like to listen to, punk, alternative, hip hop, indie... Whatever it is, I'll at least give it a chance.
I Am The Avalanche - Third Eye Blind - Say Anything - Brand New - Portugal. The Man - Glassjaw - Kid Cudi - Childish Gambino - Taking Back Sunday - Foo Fighters

I try to be pretty open minded about trying new foods. I used to be a pretty picky eater, but I've thrown that out the window, now I'll give anything a chance. I also really enjoy cooking and trying to make new things, without any real recipes.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My friends, family, integrity... what else do I need?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Just where I am going in life. I know what I want, it's just a matter of what I've got to do to get there.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Lately if I'm not working, I'm at home. Which is something I'm working on changing. I love going out to shows and really any live music. I can adapt pretty well with any scene, be it a bar, a dive or a club.

You think we'd get along. I enjoy meeting new people and just going out for drinks to get to know each other. If you're in, let me know.
