Music...
I'm always looking for new music to get into, although I really
can't get on with much chart pop or "RnB", although everyone likes
some cheese now and then.
I like prog rock and anything a bit experimental, but then again, I
like a dose of Ben Folds or Rufus Wainwright too. Love old jazz,
particularly Billie Holiday.
I have a bit of a soft spot for Chopin and Romantic symphonies (ie
Sibelius/Mahler) but I also like screechy, noisy modern music. I'm
also a big fan of early music too. The earlier the better. If it's
wearing monks habits then perfect. Also loving British folk music
too.
Movies...
I'm a real geek when it comes to films. Again, very eclectic taste.
I especially like stuff that's a bit different though. Big fan of
David Lynch, silent films, black and white musicals. What I'm not a
fan of are chick-flicks, mindless boys action films, badly made
horror films, or predictable comedies that everyone else usually
finds hilarious.
Books...
I don't get much time these days to read, but I love books. I
started collecting them when I was 12, so I have a fair few. A few
authors that I can think of at the moment who I enjoy are Neil
Gaiman, George Orwell, Peter Ackroyd, Steven King and Thomas Hardy.
