I'm having a great time living in MN. The restaurants, bars, venues, sports, lakes. They all do good work.
I enjoy being with friends/family and going out when I can. My nephew and niece mean the world to me and I love watching them grow up and develop their own personalities. Some of my friends are so close, I find it difficult to distinguish them from my family. I have a soft spot for pets and hope to get a pup sometime soon. If you don't like having pets, it's probably not gonna work with me.
I'm pretty laid-back and do my best to not worry about things that are out of my hands. I have a great sense of humor and can easily laugh at myself. No sense in taking oneself to seriously, yeah? I can be straight to the point, but I can also bulls*#t with the best of 'em. And just so you know, swearing like a sailor is not below me. However, it's not every other word either.
I'm down for trying almost anything. Scuba-diving? Sure. Aerobatics in a home-built plane? You bet. My to-do-list is always growing. I love my outdoor sports. Golfing, biking, waterskiing, skateboarding, frolfing, running, snowboarding, sailing, flying, boating, camping. Pretty much anything.
In May I ran the Tough Mudder in Somerset, WI with some friends. We had such a good time we plan on doing it again next year. In the meantime I've been working out in team boot camp at Lifetime Savage and regular workouts in SLP.
I love traveling and seeing all this world has to offer. I'm a big aviation geek and love to fly. I hope to finish my flying in the next few years and eventually have my own plane. I spend a lot of my time off working on my house I bought a few years ago near 50th and France.
I'm always interested in learning new things. I spend quite a bit of time reading up on new/interesting topics, in particular how things work in physics/mechanics. I recently found The Science Channel and it has become one of my favorites.
