Hello, I'm Ben

I'm currently in a transition point in my life between taking a few years off of school, saving money, working and building my portfolio for when I appy to grad school.

I'm not on here so I can try to hook up with you, I'm looking for genuine friendship or maybe more.

I am constantly smiling and making the best of every situation and when it comes to being serious and responsible I know how to handle my shit. I am open minded, humble, very accepting, blue collar, workaholic, optimistic, outgoing(most times). Dont judge me and i wont judge you, its all about respect in my book. I work every morning 5 days a week at the oldest resturant in grand rapids, I'm usally up for any thing new to do and can make friends with just about anyone(most of the time). In my free time I like to be outdoors, preferably in the woods or on a random adventure and when I'm indoors I like drawing/designing new concepts for future projects or just spending time with some friends

Looking for a girl that can actually talk to me(with brutal honesty,compassion) and hold a real conversation, challenge/push me and just be my partner in crime.

Graduated from Kendall college of art and design. BFA in sculpture and functional art, wood working focus.

Currently I am working as a cook in a resturant and I am working on commission pieces.

I'm taking a few years off to do things I have not had time for such as, saving money, developing ideas for my own personal work, submitting exsisting pieces to shows.

For the future I plan to eventually go back to school to get my masters so that I can become a college professor, but that's not going to happen for about 3-4 years.

So in the mean time I'm trying to live life to the fullest, looking for new people to know and maybe meet a special lady. And trying to just live my life the best I can.

Having endless amounts of ridiculous story's from my past or current endeavors, Riding my bike, all sorts of puzzles, remembering spacific details, random knowledge about subjects that don't really matter, drinking, great sence of balance, keen eye for detail, calling the ending or what's going to happen in movies/tv shows, not sleeping, cooking, helping people move or constructing a home project, very good with kids.

Throwing the finger to idiots in cars that don't know how to drive wile I'm on my moped or bike passing you, screw city drivers.
Riding a moped or bike all winter.

I've been told that I look like I'd be a intimidating person, I can assure you once you talk to me I am quite the opposite.

Books: last exit to Brooklyn, requiem for a dream, fight club, the giver, cats cradle.

Movies: Logan's run, Anything made by heyo meazaki, Gummo, what's up rockers. And I have a ton of movies on VHS.

Shows: the league, how I met your mother, adventure time, the bravest warriors, workaholics, shameless, batman.

Music: modest mouse, listener, sparkle horse, the flaming lips, my dad vs your dad, diplomacy, this will destroy you, explosions in the sky, Chopin, why, starfucker, systems of a down, youth lagoon, the books,misfits, broken social scene, anamaiguchi, man man, do make say think, chad vangaalen, cloud cult, memory tapes,electric wizard,slow club, black Sabbath, Alice in chains, brand new, Dr. Dog, blink 182, postal service, YBLAM, BMTH, ect../ to be continued
