My self-summary Propose an edit

Straight forward and flirty. Those work okay to describe me when it comes to relationships. But about myself in general? Hmmm.

"Impatient," definitely marks the top of that list. (Though, in a good, life-driving force kind of way.)

Ever since I was a kid I couldn't wait to grow up. Back then, other people were making my decisions for me. I had no control.

But now I'm in the driver's seat. I make the decisions. I make things happen. It's the best feeling in the world, having control over my own life. I can't wait to see where I'll lead me next. : - P

Personal interests: trivia, eating, baking, singing, baseball, environment, community service, architecture, politics & exercise.

Personal goals (currently): To run a marathon by the time I'm 26. *Update*: Ran the SF Marathon July 2005 in under 6 hrs. *update*: training for the Lawrence 1/2 marathon in April 2008.

To spend quality time in Italy while I'm still young. (Just dropped off my application for Summer Abroad in Florence. I'll find out by the middle of March. Keeping my fingers crossed.)

To own a plot of land that I can preserve from the big bad corporations and keep it the way nature intended.

*Update*: And on this land I'm going to put a little cob and straw bale house that I will build with my own two hands.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

Went to school to get my architecture degree. No wait. English. No. Linguistics. Scratch that. Baking. Yes. Joined AmeriCorps in 2005 and spent almost a year on disaster relief helping those affected by Katrina. One of my proudest accomplishments.:)Did the whole real world thing for about a year. Now I'm back in school, this time working on my bachelor's in Applied Behavior Science.

When not studying I love doing open mics (every wednesday except the first of the month at the jazzhaus), smackdown trivia, inventing new recipes, and just recently got into writing.
