I view myself as an impulsive, adventurous, somewhat intelligent and nerdy individualist. I am not without a sense of aesthetics or style but I don't label myself as an artist per se. However, I buy into the hacker mindset, which might be equivalent to a point. In any case, I can create beautiful images or rather ugly programs (or both at the same time) when given access to a computer (or a camera for that matter).

I firmly believe that a relationship is best built upon a solid friendship in combination with mutual physical attraction. This is what consonanta and I are currently enjoying. Moreover, I don't think that monogamy has to be the only way for people to achieve fulfillment. (I might be biased however, since I rarely experience jealousy.)

I am on okcupid to make your life more interesting, in return for you enriching my view of the world. And the other way around. Falling in love not ruled out.

I crave a meaningful project. After 1.5 years working in the commercial world (and some smart investments) my piggy bank is bursting and I am bored out of my mind.

I am looking for a way back into science and academia. I don't care if I will be "underpaid" as long as I am working on something worthwhile. High-paid inanity is nothing I enjoy indulging in.

While I do enjoy my own company (and the company of books) a lot, I also have a more active life, involving weekly sessions of bouldering with a loose group of friends, attending various technical and philosophical meetups, learning to play go and going everywhere by bike or (soon) a combination of longboard and public transport.

And finally, last year I also took up paragliding and although I am still rather inexperienced I'm apparently not completely untalented.

(I don't have a total lack of egoism.) Finally, I have an above-average affection for uncooked vegetables.
