My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Just graduated from the Art Institute with my BFA with High Honors :)

I'm a little bit of a lot of things. I love designing things and sharing experiences or thoughts with friends (especially when I'm proud of something I've poured a lot of effort into).
I'm a geek through-and-through, and prize both the obscure and the novel. I've had the amazing opportunity to travel the globe, and I have painted my perceptions in response -- but I hope to continue the journey through the rest of my life.

I expect the worst, but hope for the best. I try to keep myself objective and respectful of others' views, while retaining my own perspective. As I grow older I yearn more and more to connect with people and become active in ways I put aside when younger and more focused on academia.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a student at Portland State University, working on my Masters in Systems Science after recently graduating my first two bachelors degrees in Visual & Game Programming and Game Art & Design. I'm also working at a local design firm called Vizwerks in Portland, where I do programming and 3D design for virtual retail spaces. In my free time I hang out with friends, design, and crank out the occasional video game!

I've had the chance to travel the world in the recent years, and I've learned and seen a lot! I've darted around much of Europe, Australia, North America, Egypt, and Asia!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
My vocation of choice would be to use my 3D developing skills and become a character or environmental designer. I've been designing and working in 3D for quite some time now, setting up worlds for friends to play in and designing props and characters.
In addition to my love for 3D design, I also dabble in writing. I love a good story, and creating worlds by means of the written word is a wonderful pastime. This is also what attracts me so much to well written RPG games.
Financial matters also come naturally to me. I've always loved finding ways to save in interesting ways - it makes even buying groceries an adventure. That is not to say, however, that I do not afford to reward friends, or help those close to me in need.

The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Used to be my prominent goatee, but it's since been trimmed substantially.

It sounds cliche, but apparently my eyes now are something people notice. I always thought they were kind of dull, but whenever I'm complimented on my looks it almost always has something to do with my eyes.

Other than that, most likely that I am very polite and humble around strangers.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lately, I've found myself thinking a lot about existential subjects... just sitting around pondering on the meaning of my existence. I think about things I disagree with and why, places I've been, science, politics and the like. I daydream a lot too. It's the best place to be--inside one's own head, that is... the purest, most private place to contemplate one's self. Other times, I just imagine the most amazing, epic things I possibly can. I imagine stories unfolding in my mind and just let them go on, only to fleet away with the passage of time. I really don't take myself too seriously though.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Honestly, I could be doing one of dozens of things, but usually it's at home. Depending on if obligations loom the next morning or not, I could be burning the midnight oil on my most recent project or a good game. Otherwise, I may be enjoying a treat while watching a good show just before I flop into bed.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not that I am ashamed about it, nor should be, but I have been Roleplaying (via MMORPGs, Dungeons and Dragons, or other) for running on 8 years now -- and an awesome 8 years it has been. It's harder to fit it in with a job and other responsibilities, but it's a great way to exercise the imagination!
