My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I can be a bit of a dork, a little to rude at times, I am passionate about tasks I take on personally or professionally and can be very single minded if I think I am on to something good. But I reckon, I am not a bad guy either, I feel I am trustworthy, loyal and really a softy underneath my sometimes harsh front.

I havent extensively travelled yet but hope to start getting out and about the world very soon and learning about the world outside. Especially like to see how food and fibre production is conducted as it is a Agriculture, particularly Fruit and Vegetable production is a huge passion of mine (a little dorky) but you know what they say, if you don't eat, you don't... well you know the rest. No, really I do enjoy horticulture and have do own a small berry farm in Gippsland, which I love and hopefully will make it my career one day. I think it runs in the blood as I grew up spending a large part of time as a kid on the family Cherry Farm.

Other than running the farm, I have love old cars, especially old Holdens (no I am not a yobbo Commodore man), I am an avid political follower, keen red wine drinker (can't pass a Barossa Shiraz with out giving it a try). I am enjoying recently relocating closer to Melbourne for work and getting out in about catching up with old friends again.

I work in Horticulture also as an Agronomist, and love it, my job as taken me to some wonderful parts of Victoria and have recently taken a new position in the Yarra Valley and I am looking forward to taking things a bit more slower soon and enjoying life a bit more and meeting some new and exiting people... not just work work and maybe some more work.
What I’m doing with my life

Music: Huge music person, love it. I don't like the word that much but my style is 'eclectic'. I don't have a mainstream taste, and my radio in my car flicks a lot. I love mostly older tunes, In my rotation at the moment is Tanita Tikaram, Stevie Nicks, Icehouse (FAVOURITE BAND EVER), Rick Astley, Billy Idol, Dragon, Madonna, Talk Talk, Sting, I'm Talking, James Reyne, Level 42, P.Lion, Everything but the Girl, Blue, Danny Wilson, Black, Dune, Emma Louise, Howrard Jones, and the list goes on..

Movies: Not a huge movie person, but my favourites would have to be; Italian Job (60's ver.) and They're a Weird Mob.

TV Shows: Again not a huge TV watcher, but a friend of mine has me hooked on Mad Men at the moment and I love Newsroom and most of HBO stuff.

Books: I read a lot of 'technical' stuff for work, so don't read a lot, but do enjoy a good biography when I get the chance.

Food: I am a very basic guy here, I love trying new food, but how can you go past a good parma or most pub food and of course, I love farm fresh fruit and vegetables, nothing better and learning new ways to use them, but personally not great in the kitchen.

Someone that can handle my passion for farming even though I don't expect them to get involved, that need to understand it can take a lot of time for small pockets of the year. Someone you is passionate in what they do, enjoys good company and is looking for something more long term.
