My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Left my laid back life in California last summer and moved to NYC for grad school. Was the best thing I ever did. Now I have the New York sass mixed in with my California chill. I'd say it's a pretty good mix.

I recently met my favorite author, Tom Robbins, and he told me that my favorite book, Still Life with Woodpecker, was his tribute to women (like me) on the red-headed spectrum. Consequently, in a literary sense, my life is complete.

Like a true Leo I enjoy the finer things in life and will neither confirm nor deny claims that I am high-maintenance.

You'll often find me on my own, traipsing through the city's never ending parade of bookshops, thrift stores, and juice bars.

I absolutely love going to improv and standup comedy shows.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Clinical social work, teaching yoga and meditation to clients living with chronic mental illness, running up that hill, laughing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Hula Hooping.
Understanding your feelings.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
my hair

I like to eat healthy most of the time, like really healthy (holdover from my erstwhile vegan days), which I'm finding hard(ish) to do in New York. That said, I'll never say no to French fries or an organic burger.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
lazy Sunday
off-beat humor
that certain spark
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
metacognition, what I'm going to have for lunch and whether that will include dessert, whether the great tragedies of my life will ever be redeemed by writing a heartbreaking memoir of staggering genius, hyperboles, how dang funny Louis CK is.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
taking a bubble bath.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
