My closest friends would describe me as being honest, very nice,
modest, a bit introverted, grounded, selfless, and analytical….
someone who digs life in general. I appreciate humor, especially
when it’s witty and dry, and just skimming the cusp of being
missed. I don’t think I could have gotten this far in life without
sarcasm either. It doesn’t take much to make me laugh.
I'm attracted to women who are nice, intelligent, considerate, more introverted than extraverted, who’d rather be in nature than the dreaded mall, physically active, care about their health, care about the environment, and not nutzo (no drama for me please, so if you're way off kilter, please spare me and my kiddo).
What kind of relationship do I desire? Since my life is in transition (separated and thankfully drama free), I’d just like to go out and have fun and enjoy the moment without any expectations. If we have a good time, great, let’s go out again. If things don’t click, we wish each other luck and go on our way. I’m not much for small talk, but when a fulfilling conversation sparks up, I embrace it. I like learning new things, so I tend to listen more often than talk. Upon meeting, I’m a bit introspective, but warm up quickly.
What makes me smile? When my boy cracks up or tells me a joke, stars (they’re my reboot when life gets stressful), strawberries, flowing bike trails, watching the sun sink below the horizon (puts me in awe every time), summer thunderstorms, hiking off-trail, when strangers say hi in passing, scientific discoveries, riding a new trail, building a new trail, drifting down the Ichetucknee, peaches, meteorites, the sounds of the woods at night, cicadas, epic mountain bike rides, riding to the overlooks on the Prairie, blueberry pies, cypress trees, cool projects at work, traveling for work, stained glass, lake houses, echoes in a canyon, the list goes on…
Accomplishments: Raising my son and learning how to tie my own shoes. There’s some other cool stuff too.
