My self-summary
Tonight i am mostly dancing around my kitchen lip-synching to, amongst others... PIL, The Damned, Little Man Tate, The Vaccines, Pele, it's very, very, very loud - and i'm sure the neighbours are annoyed, but feck it - it's Tuesday night!!!

[Bum, bottoms, pants - when is a location not quite a location?? Hmm, okay, at the minute, I'm doing a wee commute between continents every few weeks - NYC or London, or London or NYC, occasionally southern Spain and Colorado thrown in for a bit of variety....]

Okay, own up... Who's nicked the Grail - I've spend friggin years searching for it, I got there last night and some smart a@se left a note saying 'Just borrowed a cup of sugar, will drop the cup back next time I'm round this way'??!?!?

Irish man, been in London too long, but loves living, having fun and working too hard!

I love music, film, literature... used to be a bit of an art buff, but you always need to visit galleries with someone else - gets far too intense going it alone!

I do like the odd tipple, a good boogie and a wee bit of flirting too ;-)

If you really have to.... I can dance the night away with both Fred and Ginger!

In my spare time... i concentrate on honing my knowledge of the imperceivable and obviously attempt to outwit quiz machines on a regular basis (with more or less success - Wednesdays are always good in South Ken)!

I am Fun, Flirty, and Adventurous

What I’m doing with my life
Enjoying it... then enjoying it a bit more... Trying to find new ways to enjoy it even more lol

Ah do I have to really be serious?? Well... I enjoy conversation and intellectual stimulation. I have to admit that I do prefer the weather to the state of the UK or Irish or European or US economy. I was once an expert on Winnie the Pooh and his original adventures. These days I probably more Thomas the Tank Engine than Fifi and the Flowertots!

I love my music.... why... cos I'm probably tone deaf when it comes to trying to make it myself - 4 track or 8 track!!

The first things people usually notice about me
My smile.... or my butt!! (in a nice way!) Or the scar above my eye, or the one on the back of my head... or the broken rib or the delapidated shoulder... but I can still walk unaided

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
books... hmmm at the moment the Ross O'Carroll-Kelly series And... of course, The Little Prince
Aplin, Andrewes (Phil rather than Virginia), Brookmyre, Bateman, Doyle, Heaney, Yeats, Joyce (not after a few though!), Le Carre, Radcliffe, Sharp, Higson - comic thrillers and even thriller comics (can't seem to find many of those these days mind). I did once read the Big Book - under duress from the Penguins of Penguin Hall - one of the crosses to bear from Irish schooldays.

films... pulp fiction, life of brian, rosy dixon night nurse & monty python and the holy grail - in no particular order! I suppose I should put all the arty ones and the old Ealing comedies, Will Hay and musicals, but i wouldn't want you getting the wrong idea now.

music... from the 60s to now, with a penchant for 1980 - 1988! Beatles & Stones, Monkees, Manfred Mann (pre-Earth band), Kaisers, Something Happens, A House, Light A Big Fire, Bankrobbers, Audioweb, 60ft Dolls, InTuaNua, The Kings (before everyone else honest... Joe's Head does something very strange), Tonys Christie & Bennett, Elv occasionally, Elv Costello more regularly, Frank, The Frank & Walters, eve a bit of FrankieGTH, PaperLace (first record I ever, ever, ever bought), Lisa Hannigan, The Frames, The Blades, Hue & Cry, The Blizzards, Little Man Tate, early oo2, Pogues, Barracudas, Madness, Specials, The Beat, ABC, Otis, Wilson, Sam & Smokey - even Plan B - the new Cee Lo album is interesting...

My iPod is a walking music library with the cheesiest pap you could imagine (and worse).

food...
anything as long as it's hot!!! can't overly be doing with sushi though :-)

music (again)... ah jeez... I saw the beastie boys in 1987 (so i must be ancient), the proclaimers, kings of leon, artics, waterboys, simple plan, angels and airwaves, snow patrol, athlete, jj72, love & money, river detectives, light a big fire, the police, the jam, the who, dred zep, horslips, saw doctors, a house, wonderstuff, transvision vamp, lou reed, the velvets, traffic, small faces, rod the mod, frank, dean and sammy, aimee mann, beth orton, sophie B, super furry animals, 60ft dolls, rialto, don fardon, don mclean, pussycat, the sweet, mud, slade, the Lizzy!, sugarhill gang, the smiths, grandmaster flash and the furious five, ll cool j, asia, some dire, bragg, icicle works, pete wylie & the mighty wah, echo, cast, communards, baez, ramones, pistols, clash... are you bored yet cos I haven't even started on Beethoven, Mozart, Briars, Barber...

And whereabouts do I start about Father Ted?????

This thrilling Thursday morn, someone made a suggestion...
A very handy one at that - and while I am pants at doing handstands (I do a much better hatstand), hands, hands, hands, hands - Max Bygraves has a lot to answer for (even before we get on to the toothbrushes!)

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye!

In my youth I donned greasepaint, sang and danced like the whirling dervish but in a much more west end kinda directed way!

Is that not enough??? I once had a, errr... same you know, experience!!!

Or you wish to discuss the merits of the compromise rules game series that may or may not happen next year... nah, never mind, thats a load of old shite?!!!?
