My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
How to describe myself ... stubborn, determined, introverted, christian, nerdy, sentimental, loyal, honest, quirky, conservative, intelligent, absent minded, sarcastic, funny, caring, ...

Do you share at least some of those? Are any of those scary words for you? No single item here really captures who I am, none is a perfect fit. I'm not simple, and that is fine with me. Life is all about the details, the little things. My profile is going to be pretty serious and clinical, but that isn't me; however I don't open up well to total strangers, so to put some fake emotion here is even less who I am.

I am fairly new to the Chicago area. I moved here to start a new job and hope to branch out and meet some new people. That is definitely not something I excel at, but it is important to me all the more because of that.

I couldn't live without humor. I have a pretty dry and quirky sense of humor. Either people get it or they don't. I want to make you laugh, and I want to laugh with you.

I enjoy reading, cooking, baking, conversation, going out to explore, biking, and walks in the midst of nature.

I am looking for someone to enjoy life with. I feel cliche saying it, but I want someone kind, smart, and funny. Someone who can enjoy a night together relaxing, off exploring the world, or something in-between. I want someone that can challenge me intellectually. You have to know more than me about something, and be passionate about something.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Enjoying my new job. It consumes a lot of my time, but I love it, and I have no regrets about the hard work it takes. It can be stressful at times too, so relaxing and staying same is my second job.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cook, baking, my job, keeping this box short
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I mostly read fantasy series and some Sci-fi (Tolkien, Sanderson, Jordan, Heinlein), but I also enjoy the occasional historical non-fiction as well. The last book I read was "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" by Heinlein.

My favorite shows of all time are Firefly, Stargate, Top Gear (uk), Whose Line is it Anyway, and South Park (but I cannot stand Family Guy). The last show I binged on was the old 1990s x-men cartoon, which surprisingly was as good as I recalled it being.

For music I like classical and classic rock, though I'm not a huge music buff, I do enjoy good music (and occasionally bad music).

If you like video games my most played game of late is Kerbal Space Program. However I don't get much time to game lately.

My favorites cuisines are Indian, Mexican, Italian, French, American, Authentic Chinese, Thai, Persian, Greek, Japanese, .... Is there any heritage that doesn't make anything good? I really enjoy breakfast dishes, and I am a total sucker for dessert. Of course anything someone spent the time to prepare themselves is best of all.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Friends/Family/God
2. Humor
3. My computer(s)/internet
4. Work
5. Books
6. Nature
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What makes the world and everything in it work.
What do I want to cook next.
I think about a lot of things ...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working, at home relaxing, hanging out with friends. (Usually not at the same time...)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I always wear socks.

I am here to meet people in reality; however I also need to exchange a few messages before I am willing to meet in person.
