My self-summary
I'm a Geek Dad who also coaches football. I love my kids and my job and audiobooks.
What I’m doing with my life
Living it. Tried to return it but I'd already gotten it all messy.
I’m really good at
Being embarrassed about answering these sorts of questions. I'm good at many things, and don't restrict myself to doing things I'm good at (what fun would that be?)
The first things people usually notice about me
Eyes if I don't have sunglasses on. With them, I'm damn near invisible. No idea why.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Huge Sci-Fi Fantasy fan still working through the classics while reading current stuff too, Sherlock Holmes and the Beekeepers Apprentice series.

Big Bang Theory, Rome, Game of Thrones (read the books first), Firefly. Trek and Doctor Who. Movies along the same lines. David Tennant is my Doctor. Sorry, I came late to this game.

I like almost all music, especially classical and jazz. Rush. Much classic rock. I'm picky about modern pop and country, much of it is crap, but there are a few standouts. And I have a special place in my heart for bagpipes.

I am a foodie and love comfort food and haute cuisine. But I don't think food should be challenging. I'll try new things, but I reserve the right to think they're gross. Big Alton Brown fan. Also love a good beer. And sometimes a crappy one (Bud Light Lime I'm looking at you.)
The six things I could never do without
Beer
Pizza
Coffee
Diet Coke
Audio books
Gum
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to best procrastinate. Oh, and why I procrastinate so much. Nah, I can think about that later.
On a typical Friday night I am
Wishing Firefly was still on.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That I answered all these questions isn't embarrassing enough?
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 30–43
  • Near me
  • For long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
None of what you've read here sends you screaming to the next tab...

I'm not looking for my double in the world, but things in common are a good start I suppose.
