Hey, there! My interests are varied an eclectic. I like anime, reading, writing, video games and making candles. I like discussing and learning about religion but am not currently practicing any particular faith. I have a cat and I adore all animals. I listen to a lot of different kinds of music and open to trying new things. I like going out as much as I like staying in and relaxing. I like to garden when I can get the time.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently working full-time and attempting to crawl out of debt. I have a bachelor degree in International Studies with an Asian Studies focus. Currently besides that I'm trying to figure out what I want to do for a career with my lovely and rather expensive degree. In the meantime I work in a call center for a retail company. And I make candles and currently I'm trying to figure out how to turn that into a business.

I’m really good at

I'm good at listening to people, as well as being supportive. I'm good with children. I enjoy playing games of the mostly video variety, as well as the tabletop variety. I'm also good at tuning out the world when I need to. I'm a pretty good cook when I get the chance. I also think I have the potential to be a decent writer but I have a hard time getting anything finished.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I gave up reading fiction for several years to focus on school readings instead. But now I'm working on getting back to reading fiction so I always welcome recommendations. Some books I know I loved are The Twelve Kingdoms, Vampire Hunter D, Smoke and Mirrors, American Gods]], [Full Metal Panic, Drawing Blood, The Dark Tower, books on candle making, books on soap making, books relating to Asia. I also read and enjoy a lot of manga and non fiction books.

For movies I like a lot of different genres, though I'm a big fan of horror movies, especially Asian horror movies. Some of my favorites are A Tale of Two Sisters, Ju-On, One Missed Call, The Locker, Lord of the Rings, What Women Want, Howl's Moving Castle, Star Wars, Transformers, The Thirteenth Warrior, Office Space, and Highlander.

My music taste is eclectic and I like a lot rock, metal and techno-dance, jazz ans instrumental pieces. I even enjoy listening to music in languages I don't know. Though one of my favorite bands will always be Alice In Chains.

I like lots of different kinds of foods and I'm willing to try anything once. Especially foods from different parts of the world.

Working for most of the day and then getting off and coming home to watch a movie and plan what to do for Saturday when I'm off and have a whole day free.
