I have a big heart with a lot of love to give. My friends would tell you I’m an honest, trustworthy, witty, intelligent, dependable and wise person. As cheesy as that may sound, that's actually pretty much me in a nutshell. Although I don't really like hanging out in them because I'm allergic to peanuts =D anyway - I really enjoy cooking and I have a minor obsession with the food network. I aspire to use my natural artistic creativity in graphic design, which I am currently in school studying. I also work out fairly regularly but I'm not all douchey about it, lifting weights is like my meditation. I constantly quote movies so if you end up hanging out with me, hopefully it's something you can be on board with.

I’m at a turning point in my life now; simply put I am rebuilding it on a solid foundation of rock (discipline, wise choices, fear of God, and patience). The man who builds his house on a foundation of sand will be swept away by the storms of life…. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. I hope to someday find my soul mate, a woman who is more normal than crazy and someone I can share lots of laughs and good times with.

Getting along with people for one. I consider this a skill because the majority of the populace is becoming increasingly hard to stomach on a daily basis.... is there something in the water? Cooking - my friends call me the grill master, although technically what I do is good old-fashioned barbequing. Slow and low is what the pro's do! Being patient, it takes a lot for me to lose my cool... I suppose that ties in with getting along with people...

The fact that I defy all stereotypes....

Right now I'm trying to gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be a Christian, so I read the bible and many theological books. I have too many favorite movies to list them all, so here's 3 of them; Office Space, The Shawshank Redemption, and The Big Lebowski. I try to watch TV shows that I can learn something from, mainly history, food net, travel, discovery and TLC. It's a proven fact that watching shows like Jersey Shore actually decrease one's intelligence. A few bands I like are Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Roots, Incubus, Kanye West, Beck, Atmosphere, The Black Keys, Nirvana... I'm pretty diverse when it comes to music but also fairly mainstream admittedly. In my defense though I don't listen to the ear vomit they spew on the radio these days! When it comes to food I will eat anything! I'm a big fan of ethnic foods that I don't know how to cook. I would love to have Andrew Zimmern's job for just one day!

Why I'm here and what the meaning of life is....

Depends on my mood. If I'm feeling lazy, I'll stay home and take some "me" time and watch movies/TV, play video games and just relax. If I'm wound up I'll go hang out with a friend or go out somewhere for a beer.
