I'd love to connect with someone who enjoys attending and even taking part in live theater and music productions; who is willing to take a risk trying something new (be it a drawing class or learning to waterski) simply because it's interesting; who basically believes that it's much more fun and to the point to experience life firsthand. That's not to say that there isn't time for quiet nights at home in front of the TV (warning: NFL devotee here) but also for having conversations about things we've seen and done and learned about--or enjoying a comfortable peaceful evening reading.
Now, truth be told, I have my nights of collapsing and watching stupid TV. So to help combat mindlessness, I practice mindfulness, which is supported by my (mostly) daily meditation and yoga practice. Do you have to do that too? Hardly, though having an open mind toward others' beliefs, both spiritual and social, is vital.
I would love to share all this with an intelli-gent with a great sense of humor and adventure. Someone who has an understanding of our individual selves being a part of the universal whole, not part of a dichotomy.
