company of a GOOD man--an exquisite soul--
and--in one of my best friends--I hope to discover one of the great loves of my life--
with whom to share a long-term monogamous relationship of substance
(FYI: If you wonder why I answered "other" for Religion in the Details section, I subscribe to the Unitarian-Universalist principles.)
I seek an inimitable man--a tender, earnest, and courageous-- awakened in mind, body, and soul whose virtues outweigh his shortcomings; willing to share the mundane functions of life, and making ways to celebrate the simple joys; and, whether working on projects together or independently, enjoying the comfort of each others' company. You challenge me to be my finer self and welcome to be so challenged.
Communication provides keys at time of difficulty. I refuse to bicker in times of conflict but prefer to navigate difficulty with tenderness, treating gently your vulnerabilities in order to preserve our feeling at ease with one another. Ultimately, we are and see each other as allies.
Good habits regarding diet and exercise help define my lifestyle and hopefully shape our common ground.
I have a passion for being part of something important and find the same attractive in a man. My journey is a process of evolution. You are on a similar mindful journey.
I adore animals as much as friends and loved ones, and even experience a mindful sorrow in eating them... no, not friends and loved ones... animals!
We sit and talk, we express affection, we cook, we exercise and walk on trails, we travel, we problem-solve, we cry and offer comfort, we go out to dine and to see movies or performances, we learn, we dance, we laugh... as friends and partners. We discover a romantic relationship with ever-evolving promise, we can decide how we wish to continue our lives together.
Handcrafting earrings and necklaces resets my brain circuitry. Participating in Toastmasters and Co-Counseling add enrichment.

I do not drag boyfriends to chick-flicks... I enjoy good stories and character development and cringe at gratuitous violence... sci-fi or action-adventure can be fun... also definitely must see a movie first and then dinner to talk about it.
My taste in music varies widely. the childhood staple was Billy Joel and most of his music appeals to my aesthetic and sense of nostalgia. no artist/group dominates now. I take my music on a song-by-song basis.
Thai, Vietnamese, Ethiopian, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, American...! I tend to be healthily discriminating about what I consume yet there are so many tastes to savor!
