i am classy, inquisitive, and adventurous... and a bright, affectionate, playful spirit, ready to laugh, who desires... the
company of a GOOD man--an exquisite soul--
and--in one of my best friends--i hope to discover one of the great loves of my life--
with whom to share a long-term monogamous relationship of substance
(fyi, if you wonder why i answered "other" for Religion in the Details section, i subscribe to a higher-power-centered ethical humanism. and in the past have belonged to the Unitarian-Universalist congregation; it is a principle-based non-credal community that welcomes people of all faiths.)
i seek an inimitable man, not a male version of a carbon-copy of me; a tender, earnest, and courageous communicator; a blend of perception, emotion, and soul. who knows what combination of mind-body-spirit complements mine? let us discover this together.
even as we enjoy the fancy moments of going out, let's share the day-to-day mundane functions of life--visiting the supermarket, doing the laundry, cleaning the house, etc.--and create the little intimacies.... even working on projects independently but in each other's company proves comforting.
i feel very good about my physique--a regular at the gym--and maintain a healthful diet. my appearance is stylishly expressive, enjoying my panache in dolling up. and i pride myself on being a second-hand store fashionista!
i value skilled honest communication and sensitivity and the ability to adapt as we grow amid experiences. i refuse to bicker in times of conflict or adversity. i prefer to navigate difficulty with tenderness. i treat gently your vulnerabilities in order to preserve our feeling at ease with one another and request gentleness likewise. you challenge me to be my finer self and welcome to be so challenged. ultimately, we are and see each other as allies.
i support your aspirations and request your support of mine. i have a passion for being part of something important and find the same attractive in a man. my journey is a process of evolution. you are on a similar mindful journey.
i adore animals as much as friends and loved ones, and even experience a mindful sorrow in eating them... no, not friends and loved ones... animals!
we sit and talk, we express affection, we cook, we walk on trails, we travel, we problem-solve, we cry and comfort, we go out to dine and to see movies or performances, we learn, we dance, we laugh... as friends and partners. we discover a romantic relationship with ever-evolving promise, we can decide how we wish to continue our lives together.
