Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've always been a bit shy, which probably helped lead me into a
career in computers.
I tend to spend my free time off vising with family, or getting
caught up with whatever fine television programming my TiVo has
found for me over the course of the week.
Beyond that, I've got a house. So, now I'm doing homeownery things.
Such as lawn mowing and snow removing.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
At the moment I work as a software engineer for a local company.
Outside of all that I don't really have that much going on. I tend
to pick up home / car related projects as I think of them or as
they make themselves known to me (Damn you freezing pipes!).
There's occasional travel for work, but mostly I'm lounging around
my house, out to visit family, or off on a scenic drive.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Generally speaking, computers and technology are my main area of
expertise. I also really enjoy working on my car, even if a third
of the time I really have no idea what I'm doing. I've got lots of
tools accumulated and I know how to read a manual, so things
eventually work out. In addition, I seem to have acquired all
manner of virtually pointless knowledge over the years, so ask me
an obscure question and I might have an obscure answer for you.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been told that I have pretty eyes. Take a look at the pictures
and decide for yourself.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
A) The Lord of the Rings trilogy (though its been a long time since
I've read it in its entirety), The Princess Bride, any collections
of Steve Martin's short stories or essays (very very entertaining,
and his autobiography is quite interesting too)
B) The Princess Bride, The Third Man, Lawrence of Arabia, The Usual
Suspects, and since there's no place for TV shows I'm going to
mention: Pushing Daisies, Now and Again, 30 Rock, the Venture
Bros., and Wonderfalls
C) I have no particular musical tastes, which leaves this one all
over the board. Anything from Spinal Tap mock metal to They Might
be Giants to old Smothers Brothers comedy recordings. Just about
any style is ok by me.
D) A nicely grilled steak, pasta, chocolate pie (for which I'm able
to produce a passable specimen)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Outside of the basic necessities to sustain human life, not much
really. However, here are six things that it would suck to be
Clothes (what can I say, it gets cold here in the winter)
Friends and Family
A Job (or an interesting hobby to pass the time)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
One of two things depending on my mood. Either I'm trying to
accomplish something, or I'm trying to improve my procrastination
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Lounging around my house. Other times you might find me visiting
family or providing tech support for those people in my life who
have made computers their mortal enemies.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
This is the internet, nothing here is private...
As a neophyte at this whole dating thing, I feel a bit like the dog
chasing the car. If I actually manage to catch one, I have no idea
what to do with it.

You want to know more about me, want me to know more about you, or
are just plain curious about me. I'm pretty much an open book, as
long as you're willing to ask the questions. Just messaging me
because you think I'm cute is fine too ;-)
