My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
While I still feel like I just moved here, now officially becoming a South Carolinian!

I am a teacher which consumes about 99.9% of my time, but when I'm not with my middle schoolers and their families I love anything relating to the outdoors (sea or mountains), music, art, and just general fun. Definitely an East Coaster, I'm from Maryland (Chesapeake forever!), went to college in Vermont, worked in Atlanta and D.C., but now working on making Hartsville home.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working on work/life balance, and trying explore/take more adventures!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
organizing things? If that's a skill? Also at pretending to be on the Food Network.
The first things people usually notice about me

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

My little brother (we're very close)
a notebook
a pencil
My Ipod (or some form of music)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything under the sun. But most prominently, I find myself thinking a lot about the students I teach, from articles about sports teams and musicians to playbooks to the latest awesome novels, I always am trying to find stuff they'll be interested in to keep them super competitive, interested, and eager to keep learning.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
having a nice dinner with my friends, and then either watching a movie or grabbing a drink together
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
