My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm, apparently, digitally shy. If you don't initiate contact, I will probably not reach-out here. Sad, but true.
That said... I'm a reasonably fun person to be around.
I work odd hours, but have copious time off (often unexpected) to run around and have fun.
I light things/people for film/video... mostly advertising/commercials... I have a sometimes strange, but really enjoyable career doing so (as a freelancer).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Treasure hunting.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Height. I'm 6'4". I hit my head on stuff a lot. I'm used to it.

Maybe we could talk about it in person.

My record collection, for example, is... hmmm: "diverse".
For some reason, I feel perpetually obligated to unearth things that I know nothing about, and learn about them... Embrace things that I used to ignore, and find pleasure in a more recent context... or revisit things that I connected with in the past, and wonder "what the hell was I thinking?"... (I'm still talking records here).
I still haven't found an intellectual explanation for my collection of Hayley Mills 7inches, except that I like her accent and occasional off-key inflection. It's one the few things in my collection that I actually "collect".

Of course, I have scads of my comfort albums as well... The one's that still make me comfortable. It's fun to find where there's overlap with someone else. Right?

Same goes for movies, food, books, art... kind-of all over the map.
I'll spare you the list of titles/directors/cinematographers (movie-wise). I like movies.
I go on brief reading benders, but not often enough. I've got plenty of books: Some I've read, some (with bookmarks) that I've started, Some that I want to, Some that are pretty to look at... and some that, I think, make me look smart (you might argue, upon seeing the number of children's titles). They're all nice to have, should the bender begin again.

I spend a disproportionate amount of time going to small bars to see "shows" by local, barely-formed, punkish, 3-minute-song bands. I suppose I'll continue doing that until it ceases to amuse me.
But, hey, I also like softer, quieter, thoughtful stuff... I've even been to the Opera (think I'll go again some day!).
I kinda like musicals, a lot... There. I said it.

I rarely eat fast food, but enjoy it when I do.
I can also behave myself in nicer restaurants, with a more delicately prepared plate.
Not a fan of mushrooms. I'm still not sure why. It goes deep into my childhood. My Sister's the same.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'm thinking, and re-thinking this all the time. Obvious answers not withstanding...
Clinging to "things", despite the enjoyment I get from having things, seems like an un-worthwhile pursuit...
I'll pass for now (and work on this).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Trying to think of something untypical to do. Then, typically, doing something typical.
