My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Brian. I studied Geology and Photography in college and don't use either one in my work (I work in a local manufacturing plant). I have a really cute cat named Cassie that plays fetch and talks a lot.
I grew up down near Ocean City, NJ and I make the drive down a lot of weekends to spend time with my dad. And by spending time, I mean drinking bourbon and watching good (or really bad) movies together while our cats play-fight and run around the house. Good times.
I quit smoking cigarettes in April after a few years of smoking. It was surprising how quickly they started smelling terrible again.
I play a bunch of instruments, mostly of the strings-and-frets variety. Almost two years ago now I joined a band that I've been friends with for a while and it's exciting to be writing and recording new music.

I haven't been taking many photos lately aside from instagram (and haven't posted any new ones on my flickr in a long time), but if you'd like to take a look;

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I moved to Haddon Heights in July. So far I like it, and not having roommates anymore is pretty great.

I work for a company that manufactures prescription shoe inserts (orthotics). Basically I spend the day grinding plastic on a big belt sander while singing along to my ipod.
It's loud and dirty and my hands (and t-shirts) get a little beat up by the machines sometimes, but I like working with my hands. And it definitely beats working retail.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I enjoy playing all sorts of instruments (guitar, bass, mandolin, ukulele, banjo, puerto rican cuatro). I like the challenge of learning how to play a new one, and from what I've been told I'm pretty good at a few of them.
Like I said, I haven't been taking many photos lately, but I do like to think I can cobble together a decent image with my phone for instagram.
Or I just take pictures of my cat. That happens a lot too. Maybe too much.
The first things people usually notice about me

They have to look up to talk to me?

A lot of people notice how quiet I am. It used to be mainly from shyness, but now I think it's more that I like to kind of sit back and listen more than I like to talk.

Top Gear (UK), @Midnight, South Park, Futurama, Parks and Rec, Archer, 30 Rock, Breaking Bad, Lost (I stopped at the second to last season and I still haven't gotten myself to finish it).
I'm very grateful to have access to netflix, hulu+, and amazon prime. I'm definitely spoiled when it comes to streaming services.

A musical instrument of some kind
A camera, even if it's just the one on my phone
TV/movies of some sort
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At home resting from being on my feet all week at work or at my dad's house.

I've never watched any of the Star Wars movies, and I don't care to.

The first cassette tape I ever bought was Vanilla Ice. I was five.

I have a pretty bad back from a car accident a few years ago. Between that and my social anxiety, I tend to prefer nights in.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You should message me if you like big cuddly guys who like cats and play odd musical instruments.
Or if you want to play music with me.
Or if you want to stay up late and watch terrible old sci-fi and horror movies, possibly while drinking/vaping if you're into either of those.
Or if you want to go take pictures somewhere nature-y.

I'm open to suggestions, let's do something.
